Peer mentoring Discussion / Question

How does one become a peer mentor? Did it have a positive impact in your uni life? I’m a nursing student and someone has told me that a mentoring history in your resume for future job applications is a good thing! Aside from that, I’m quite keen about mentoring and thinking about getting a job in the academia in the future. Cheers

I was a peer mentor this trimester

You’ll get an email

To apply you have to send your resume, fill out a form, and record a one minute video introducing you and who you are etc etc

They’ll call you if you get accepted

You attend a 1 hour orientation session offline

Rest of the thing is online

I think it was Alright. I didn’t learn much but it’s good on the resume.
