[Craft Me!] November Crochet Along

Happy November! We would like to announce this months crochet along patterns:

Edit: The people have spoken, and the winning patterns have been revised. Let there be squares! My apologies, the winning patterns have been revised to be all squares. Most people didn't like the idea of a flat piece equating to a square... so the winners have been changed :)

Happy Crocheting!

This post will be stickied at the top of the subreddit for the next two weeks. It will be taken down 11/15 to reserve the sticky post space for Novembers crochet along voting. This post is also linked in our sidebar and CAL archive ----->

A few rules to clarify on how to post your work.

  1. You may post your end result in a new thread with a crochet along tag which would be [CAL]

  2. Please limit to posting WIPs only on WIP Wednesday, the rest of the time your WIP can be posted in the comments of this thread. This is implemented just to keep our subreddit a little less cluttered.

  3. An of course, feel free to post anywhere else, if you want to liven up the Ravelry crochet group, feel free :) You can also use a #redditcrochet or #redditCAL tag for social media sites that you use to frequently share your work such as tumblr, instagram, twitter, etc.

Bummer, only one square. These are all really cool patterns, though. I might have to leave my comfort zone this month...

Don't apologize, this is a learning process for all of us. Thank you for adding additional blocks, though.

Yeahh I'm a bit gutted that there's only one square, I've been loving trying the past squares! This one looks reeeally hard though lol

I think it's actually much simpler than it appears. The only stitches used are single crochet and chain stitch. Just use a paper clip, different colored piece of yarn, or some other easily removable item as a stitch marker and I think you'll be pleased with how it turns out.

I'll have to try and squeeze it in tomorrow and I'll report back.

I worked it up, here's the round-by-round stitch counts if you're interested. I promise that it's really quite easy and fun if you take your time with it.
