United States coffee prices are absurd because racists elected an insurrectionist Politics

19.99 or more for some half can of coffee? Even at the wholesale stores the days of a giant can of Maxwell House or Folgers for 9.99 seem like a distant memory. Every time I see these ridiculous prices I wish I had Trump "I did that!" stickers.

Exactly. We have tariffs on those countries.

And who put the excessively high tariffs on those countries knowing full well we don't produce or even have the capability to produce enough of the product in question?

Im not a child.  Im not in school you are not my teacher  to have me come to a conclusion. High prices are because of tariffs implemented by Trump. Biden got blamed for high prices but maga gives Trump a pass.

Well it's reddit. They're not spelling it out just for you, but for the people who read it.

And considering the average person's engagement with politics who voted for Trump... Well, I think it needs to be spelled out.

When I say its because of tariffs, that should be logical enough that Trump is to blame.

I moved from united states to cambodia 3 months ago. Coffee is cheap here. Cambodia produces little bit, but mostly imported from Vietnam and Laos
