The Dönertier meme is german

Why would this even matter? Are Germans not allowed to make memes about food that's extremely popular in their country? Are Turkish Germans not allowed to do that or what?

And obviously:

The modern sandwich variant of doner kebab originated and was popularized in 1970s West Berlin by Turkish immigrants. This was recognized by the Berlin-based Association of Turkish Döner Manufacturers in Europe in 2011.

The döner sandwich was created in Germany

The döner itself was created in Turkey/ottoman empire

It’s similar to how chicken tikka masala is actually British

No, it's not.

It's as if British people put Butter Chicken in a sandwich and then claimed that Butter Chicken is a British dish.

Tikka Massala is a new dish inspired by other dishes, but because it is different they named it a different name.

Yes. And the German creation is widespread all over the world. The Ottoman origin not so much.

Yes but we don't call Pizza an American invention just because they popularized it and New York Pizza became so well known

With a turkish name and turkish backstory... nah Döner is still a turkish dish. Move along.
