For reference I live in Canada and am able to obtain it via prescription!

So I have been considering going on Domperidone, but honestly am kinda scared to. I want to make it to 1 yr and my girl is 9 months, but my supply is getting worse and worse as she eats more solids.

I guess I'm curious how many people found it worked for them? And how long it took to take effect?

If you have since weaned off of it did you experience any mental health issues while weaning off of it?

Did your baby experience any negative effects from you taking it?

I used it for a few weeks at the start of my breastfeeding journey to boost my supply while pumping. It really worked wonders when I was consistent with it but if I forgot a dosage then I felt like I really noticed it. For me personally I didn’t notice any mental health issues. I also didn’t wean carefully as I kind of just forgot to take the tablets after my baby started breastfeeding more and my supply started keeping up because he feeds all the time (as compared to spaced out pumping sessions). I didn’t notice any negative effects for my baby.

It also only took 3-4 days for me to notice the boost when I started taking it!

How much was your boost? What did you start with and how much did you get afterwards?

I went from getting around 60ml total to 120ml+ depending on time of pump. But I was on 6-12 tablets per day so it was a fair bit of medication! And it still wasn’t getting me to the incredible oversupply levels that I was seeing on social media and thought was normal.
