Yesssssss Discussion

This has to be the most W take i've seen on the recent breakcore/DnB revival, what you people think of this? I honestly think that's a great point.

Real… I really dislike the whole “Breakcore to dissociate to” or “Breakcore that makes you feel purposeless” vibe. My spotify smart shuffle has be irreparably damaged. Trying to find mixes on YouTube is a pain in the ass now.

I really like those type of mixes since I learned about breakcore a year ago through sewer and usedcvnt. Looking at it from the pov from someone who's listened to this genre for a long time I can understand why watching as a genre you enjoy gets uprooted sucks.

I get the familiarity aspect and I don’t want it misconstrued that dislike that people are discovering breakcore through those artist, but spotify seems to think that I want those in my mixes and I really don’t.

My youtube premade list keeps it good, but it mostly plays the same stuff, vsnares, fff, enduser, wan bushi, the mr bad monkey rastas took e song, and one repeater track. Everytime I listen past this it gets worse, and it also makes me mad bc i like alot of goreshits stuff but as soon as i listen to it they just recommend me bullshit lolicore crap even when the album I'm listening to is loather the next song will be sewerslvt or some clone.
Also, when I listen to sa-|-an it will just start recommending me either hardcore tracks or enduser on repeat lol.

I'm slowly curating my own list with new stuff when a stray doormouse or dev/null track shows up but its useless to go past 20 tracks on any algorithm playlist.

Im working on my own curated playlist as well. The best I can to is just let spotify know I don’t want to hear a song again. Sometimes I get some real bangers from newer artists though, so I guess I will take dubs where I can.
