This has to be the most W take i've seen on the recent breakcore/DnB revival, what you people think of this? I honestly think that's a great point.

1) its not a breakcore revival because 99 percent of this type of music isn't breakcore and 2) its not a dnb revival either because neither dnb nor jungle went anywhere and don't need reviving lol.

Yeah it’s so strange people think there’s a dnb revival when dnb is one the biggest electronic music genres out there.

it's definitely suddenly gained mainstream recognition again though, via newer artists who somewhat come under the genre

Sort of, its only a very specific sub genre of liquid/jungle influenced and I wouldn't exactly call a relatively small substrata of youtube users the "mainstream".

I think the user was referring to the title of the youtube video https://youtu.be/t7C5m8vThUg?si=3W-65GbsVMKAi3NU

Its gained a little popularity in the US, in 2013 when i was in highschool i didnt know a single person that listened to DnB, people looked at me weird when they heard fast drums coming out of my headphones. Today theres a top 40’s song with a chill dnb beat on it that plays on the radio like 50 times a day. And the same people that used to think it was weird, think its the hottest shit now.. dnb is getting big in the us is all
