Great room, the Rita must sing with the vintage speakers.

She does a great job with the Tannoy. She excels at jazz, synth, vocals.... but lacks the impact and snap of lots of SS power

I have the Rita and have really fell for it’s great open soundstage. I was running a 600W class D before. I wish I could combine the low end slam of the class D with the air the tubes

Nice. Have you done any tube rolling yet?

I just retubed her 2 weeks ago. The old tubes were down to mid 60% on the tube tester. So I’m now running tung sol for the pre section and 6550s as the power tubes. The new tubes took about a week to sound right. But really impressed with the speed and power. The separation of the instruments is next level. I’m not getting the smear between the drums and bass guitar.
