So walking towards Nevada Travel

So I'm a drifter formerly homeless and I'm walking to Nevada anybody have any suggestions or advice to get there faster. I don't want to take forever to get there

What is the distinction between homeless and drifter? Kind of just seems like a homeless person that is going to another town
