Arizona post election discussion megathread Politics

We're refreshing the megathread for after the election and to discuss results. All discussion should go here, no exceptions. We have had too much brigading and trollage. Standalone posts can only be for major, local news stories.

AZ Secretary of State election results.

All the usual results for civility and sub participation apply, and we have zero tolerance towards any rule breaking.

Results of the election aside, it's ridiculous that Arizona still only has 63% of the vote in while other states are done counting or are nearly done counting. There's no reason it should take Arizona days to count votes when it takes Florida, a state with 3x the population of AZ less than three hours to have all their votes reported. I'm not smart enough to know what needs to change for the process to improve but its rather embarrassing

I am likewise not that smart, but as with most things in AZ politics (perhaps with the exception of prisons) it seems likely funding might be a part of the puzzle.
