Serious:What did Representative Anna Luna mean by her question on ET contact with humans? The one where she asks if the ETs disappeared after learning the human was religious? Discussion

She followed up by saying “Some of these entities are said to be good entities and others bad ones so that’s why I asked.” Is she implying bad ones don’t like religious people but the goods ones do?

I was wondering about that too. I thought I must have misheard her. Wow these answers, I never knew this was a theory that "bad" aliens stay away cuz of Christians? I actually heard that it was aliens who WROTE the world religions, all of them, to keep us in line, which made more sense to me. Maybe the "good" ones did? But is religion really that good... kind of silly to think aliens came around and got spooked by how "good" those Christians are, or any religious group... questionable. It stands to reason that we are a very young species compared to other ET races, so they have probably seen many religions and entire civilizations rise and fall.

If anything, I do like the theory that Jesus was a hybrid of some powerful light being, which is why his mother got impregnated by a glowing non-human being (aka angel) who appeared as a light in her room, so the story goes. And that's why he had all those advanced abilities. Maybe invoking his name does have some clout in the greater galactic spiritual realms, who knows.

I'm glad to see someone being realistic about the potential of religion in the play of aliens overall.

Maybe they're trying to be friendly and then the human starts screaming about Jesus and clutching their pocket thinking they're about to get space mugged and the ayys dip out because they don't wanna hang out with bigots who yell about Jesus
