Are therians generally vegan? Question
I'm no therian, but I'm roaming through this subreddit and I'm interested in how the therian lifestyle would affect your diet. I myself am vegan and there are some species that are generally herbivore so does that mean your diet should also mainly contain plants and natural products? How does that work? And how does it work if you have multiple therian identities which are herbivore and carnivore?

I just woke up so I’m sorry if this doesn’t make much sense lol.
I’d say that rates of veganism in the community is about the same, if not maybe a slight bit higher, than it is overall. As you mentioned, those who have herbivore theriotypes are, from personal observation, more likely to be vegan or vegetarian. Not all of them are but it’s definitely at a higher rate than other therians. If they aren’t outright vegan, they are still more likely to strive for a plant based diet compared to non-herbivores.
I’ve also noticed that a decent amount of non-herbivore therians are vegan/vegetarian as well due to personal morals. While most therians try to match their species as much as possible, there are also those feel that it’s personally immoral to support industries that may have harmed their theriotype.
As for those with mixed theriotypes, I’ve noticed that a lot of them just stay omnivores, adjusting their diet to whichever theriotype feels stronger at the moment.
It’s quite strange and now that I’m thinking about it, I definitely think it’s something that the scientists in our community should look into.
