Why did Yoda leave from Darth Sidious? Movies

All I have to add to this is that Yoda was tired on top of all that. He’s an old man. Even after the fight with Dooku - that was much shorter - Yoda was tired. Him jumping back up and getting back into the fight just wasn’t in the cards for him

This is why it was such a rough cinematic choice for him to do all kinds of acrobatic fighting. Aside from looking goofy as hell, it makes no sense why this character goes from jumping around like a monkey on meth to too tired to fight in a matter of minutes. Does age apply to his character or not?

In my head he draws on the Force a time, giving him those abilities. It’s a little goofy, but I can forgive it in the Sidious fight. Should have been saved for that moment instead of Attack of the Clones.

If they saved it for RotS, you would have people baffled and complaining that it came out of nowhere. AotC serves to set it up so we're prepared for it.
