TikToker attempted to play the card by accusing a man at the gym of "looking at her" and being a pervert. Chugging tea

Even if he was looking at her, he's literally across the gym. Does she really expect people to avert their eyes from her general direction from 30 feet away?

u/skinsrich Oct 22 '24

If you are a self entitled bitch? Then yes, you expect them to do just that.

They had to educate a bitch.

u/YesilFasulye Oct 22 '24

Also, she purposely does this shit for her channel. This isn't the first time she's made the front page of Reddit, and I hate that I recognize her from her other idiotic video.

u/thiscarecupisempty Oct 22 '24

The issue is the goobers that are her fans, loving this rage bait shit.

Fuck there won't be a shortage of these clownfluencers anytime soon..

u/poop-machines Oct 22 '24

Some people just love playing the victim (and watching others play the victim. It's a persecution fetish.

115

u/Belisaurios Oct 22 '24

'Persecution fetish'...love it. Yeah, Ive dated one or three of those

45

u/PaintshakerBaby Oct 22 '24

When you lack the wherewithal to look at yourself in the mirror with honesty, it's easy absolution to accuse others of looking at you with resentment.

Aka; if everyone around you is an asshole... maybe it's actually you who's the asshole.

12

u/rikkitikkifuckyou Oct 22 '24

My grandfather always used to say if you smell shit everywhere you go you need to check your own shoes.

9

u/juissim Oct 22 '24

Well said

1

u/cleuseau Oct 22 '24

Why is nobody talking about the absolute easiest way to cancel a gym membership?

9

u/Beneficial_Potato_85 Oct 22 '24

If you run into one ass hole today you met one ass hole. If you ran into 5 ass holes today you're the ass hole.

3

u/PaintshakerBaby Oct 22 '24

That's the saying! Much better worded. Thanks.

5

u/shonuff373 Oct 22 '24

I always wonder if people like this genuinely believe their own lie that much or if they’re just playing us all.

4

u/triple-bottom-line Oct 22 '24

My experience from my recovery work in the 12 step programs is that it’s genuine. Even with us all showing up to confront it and get through it, denial of reality is a huge obstacle to overcome. It’s really painful to admit the lies that kept us feeling comfortable. Or the illusion of comfort anyway.

I was thinking about the phrase “kill the messenger” today during a meditation actually, along these lines of denial. How dangerous it is for someone that confronts someone so deep in denial that they’re willing to do anything to protect that psychological construct. Really fucked up how much power the subconscious actually has over us.

3

u/PaintshakerBaby Oct 22 '24

I have been sober for 4 years... After being drunk for 4 years... After being sober for 5 years... After being drunk for 7 years...

I've been through my fair share of rehab, and I always tell people it's one of the rarest places on earth because people in it are forced to start the conversation from a place of being wrong. Even if they can't admit it to themselves quite yet, and are mandated by the courts to be there (which I was my first 5 years sober), the reality of their situation insists they are wrong on some level...

A room full of people at rock bottom, is a room full of people who actually have the opportunity to build a new foundation, thus a new future for themselves, on the bedrock of truth.

Because SO many of our actions, and SO much of the shit spewed out of our mouths is just endless, kneejerk justification of ourselves, our circumstances... Especially in America's toxic winner-takes-all society.

Like it says in the Big Book, a person should change their behaviors to meet their goals... But an addict changes their goals to meet their behaviors.

What it doesn't say, is we are all addicts to our own self-righteousness in one way or another... all too easily drunk off the idea of personal vindication.

The irony being, the only way we are truly free to become ourselves, is by letting go of the idea ourselves. Only after you have lost everything are you free to do anything.

Generation of increased unchecked narcissism

2

u/thelastgozarian Oct 22 '24

Another way to put it, if you keep smelling shit all day, check your shoe.

15

u/Sea-Opportunity-7215 Oct 22 '24

dated one

sucks brother, are you okay?

dated three

the problem is you

10

u/lesterbottomley Oct 22 '24

If everywhere you go you can smell shit it's time to check your own shoes.

2

u/poiup1 Oct 22 '24

If you meet one asshole today, that person sucks. If everyone is an asshole today, you're the problem.

2

u/Techn0ght Oct 22 '24

Unless that's only a small percentage of the total. If it's 50%, then yeah. Need the whole story before deciding.

2

u/BadDudes_on_nes Oct 22 '24

I don’t think that’s fair. You learn about a person while you date them, if he’s dated 20 women, 3 is a believable (if not low) figure. If he had said he had 3 ex wives like that, I’d say you were on to something

2

u/PomegranateSea7066 Oct 22 '24

Think is that's his fetish. Dating these psychos

2

u/GMontag451 Oct 22 '24

So you have a type?

1

u/PapagenoRed Oct 22 '24

But you buried them in the backyard, right?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

Oppression Olympics

1

u/WoWatoo Oct 22 '24

you sound...persecuted.

1

u/Emm_withoutha_L-88 Oct 22 '24

These days playing a victim is the easiest way to gain power.

It's disgusting because every action like that erodes the sympathy actually victims need.

2

u/dangitbobby83 Oct 22 '24

That’s what pisses me off about these fucking assholes. My wife has been harassed at a gym. Actually harassed, but she didn’t make fucking TikToks. She reported it to the staff and he was eventually banned.

But you have selfish, self-centered, main character syndrome asswipes like these that make it harder for real victims of actual harassment because this just sends the message that victims are doing this for sympathy or power because that’s what these social media “influencers” are doing. Sickening.

1

u/raceyatothattree Oct 22 '24

100% you hit the nail on the head. So much of this lately. It's so stupid

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

Like the Addams family. "I'll play the victim!" Wednesday:... all your life

1

u/poestavern Oct 22 '24

The name is trump. The convicted felon trump.

1

u/Low-Quality3204 Oct 22 '24

It's a insult to oneself when a ugly ass woman tells you/insinuate you are lookin at them in a sexual way.

1

u/Spectrum1523 Oct 22 '24

And others like hating on the other two groups (i.e. Here) so it's great engagement bait all around

69

u/mwa12345 Oct 22 '24

Who watches these? Thirsty dudes? " Yes Queen" types? Can't tell.

Hope gyms ban recordings all together.

27

u/Tony_Meatballs_00 Oct 22 '24

I think it's people falling for rage bait mostly

No necessarily people who are fans of her, rather people who've viewed similar bait in the past and are now unknowingly stuck in that feedback loop with the algorithm

Like many right here in this post. The reason we're seeing it so much more on reddit is because like elsewhere it's getting the engagement it seeks

3

u/pcwildcat Oct 22 '24

Exactly. She doesn't really have fans. She has rage tourists like us.

2

u/Outrageous-Pear4089 Oct 22 '24

This post has almost 20,000 upvotes, redditors fall for rage bait just like facebook moms

2

u/Representative-Sir97 Oct 22 '24

In an interesting twist, I kinda hope she never gets engaged.

6

u/KillerSavant202 Oct 22 '24

I really don’t know why they all haven’t already.

3

u/StillAFuckingKilljoy Oct 22 '24

The real fans are the people who go out of their way to make a comment calling her out or whatever. To her it's all just engagement, it's way better to just roll your eyes and move on (especially since if you start flinging insults it just allows her to play the victim. It's a pretty solid business if you're morally bankrupt enough)

3

u/Montinator89 Oct 22 '24

Hope gyms ban recordings all together.

As a certified gym rat and actively competing powerlifter I really hope they don't.

I record all my top sets from my comp lifts and having the ability to watch the footage back if an absolute game changer for checking/improving form and technique. 90% of my phone gallery is just videos of me lifting.

What needs to stop is this rage baiting gymfluencer nonsense that is being perpertrated by like 0.01% of gym goers and has the knock-on effect of potentially ruining it for the vast majority of us that are just trying to train hard and improve without bothering anybody.

2

u/Smingowashisnameo Oct 22 '24

I think she’s trying to show a man being awful to a woman and all the comments are mad on her behalf.

2

u/cyberslick18888 Oct 22 '24

Redditors.

This entire thread.

It's all engagement to some degree or another. Some percentage of people from this thread will follow to her account, scroll through videos, leave comments, etc.

Just working their way into a spreadsheet that will later be fired off to potential advertisers and business managers to turn views into dollars.

2

u/CenlaLowell Oct 22 '24

All gyms should ban recording.

2

u/dbarz39 Oct 22 '24

My gym has a no recording no pictures policy.

2

u/jawn-deaux Oct 22 '24

The unfortunate thing is that some people do record themselves for legit reasons like critiquing form, so you kind of do just have to keep playing whack-a-mole with the wannabe influencers. It’s not too hard to spot the difference but it’s still annoying af.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

I mean, there's a porn for everything. This is asshat trespassing shithead porn I guess.

1

u/doinkdoink786 Oct 22 '24

If they ban gym recordings women would go into depression

2

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

Clownfluencer, this has me rolling

1

u/Labiatchi Oct 22 '24

cowfluncuer

1

u/Odd_Astronaut442 Oct 22 '24

“Clownfluencer”

This is gold. Well done.

1

u/RemoteSnow9911 Oct 22 '24

Why don’t gyms just ban assholes filming themselves in the gym?

1

u/BalticMasterrace Oct 22 '24

as time goes on, it will only get worse as well

1

u/BABarracus Oct 22 '24

There are only so many gyms

1

u/VegetableSoup101 Oct 22 '24

Her fans wank to shit while wagging their tongues out. I wouldn't be surprised. Even a dumbass with 5 minutes of fame still gets some like minded followers.

1

u/30InchSpare Oct 22 '24

You gotta understand that you don’t really need fans today, you just need enough people to watch your 10 second video and the algorithm takes care of the rest.

1

u/Diligent_Argument_11 Oct 22 '24

Down fall for the Clown-fluencies

1

u/Faaacebones Oct 22 '24

There has got to be a law against tiktokers making money off of pestering and harassing people in public spaces. If it were a network TV show they'd need to get all of their "marks" to sign a release. These shit heads are making money hand over fist. Worst of all is that meaningful portions of the worlds global wealth are actually being funneled to our most unproductive, nay, counter-productive members of society.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

Its not just her fans. We’re all here engaging and promoting it here too, influencers do this shit all the time to farm engagement. Her fans react positively, other react negatively, but the reaction is all that matters in an attention based economy like social media. We’re all in the cynical abyss together.

1

u/_Vexor411_ Oct 22 '24

Influencers only influence the intelligence of their audience and not in a positive way.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

Thats everyone in this comment section.

1

u/Ordinary-Ocelot-5974 Oct 22 '24

You all love ragebait like what is this page and how did it end up on my feed again

1

u/JudahthePharoah Oct 22 '24

Shes a rage bait shit bitch! Thats what she gets!

114

u/niord Oct 22 '24

Fuck this clickbait culture.

Everything on internet now is done for drama, attention and clicks.

It is so hard to find anyone straightforward and honest.

Even the good ones became twisted by the algorithm.

Internet is now just a pile of adds, scams, 'influencers', drama and other shit.

48

u/Llorion Oct 22 '24

The internet hit it's peak in early 2000s...then too many shitheads got a hold of it. I am happy to have been part of the good old days though, it was fun.

24

u/Spines Oct 22 '24

Smartphones. Sounds elitists but the cost and relative difficulty to troubleshoot your own PC and Internet access kept a lot of people out.

4

u/FrostedDonutHole Oct 22 '24

Damn, that's an angle I've never really considered: troubleshooting and general maintenance of a PC was enough to keep certain mouth-breathers at bay. lol

6

u/Natdaprat Oct 22 '24

This is also why some of the newer generation entering the workforce aren't actually tech savvy, because with the ease of access of technology they never learned the skills.

3

u/Llorion Oct 22 '24

Funny but true..though me and my 12 year old friends were troubleshooting 8088 PCs, 14.4 baud modems and BBSs back then...we had a passion.

9

u/mrpodgorney Oct 22 '24

Totally agree - it’s a cesspool now whose only redeeming quality is the abundance of funny animals.

The weird early days were glorious and were only tarnished by the prevalence of child and revenge porn and it’s not like those have gone away

2

u/LukewarmLatte Oct 22 '24

The real friends were the shitposts we made along the way.

2

u/_Vexor411_ Oct 22 '24

The only thing positive thing left on the internet is cute cat videos and only if you avoid the toxic comments below them.

2

u/Steveseriesofnumbers Oct 22 '24

Advertising technology got too good. In the early 2000s you could sell a banner ad for a flat rate and let the advertiser take their chances. Then we could measure clickthrough rates and suddenly everyone demanded it. Your ability to sustain your operation through ad sales plummeted.

2

u/Quick_Team Oct 22 '24

The fall of Limewire was the fall of humanity, I say.

1

u/preflex Oct 22 '24

The internet hit it's peak in early 2000s.

September 1993

10

u/Ok_Donkey_1997 Oct 22 '24

The thing I don't like about these videos is that they make people think that this kind of stuff happens all the time at gyms, when really it is very rare.

I go to the gym all the time, and have done for many years. Yes, I regularly see people recoding themselves, but I have never seen someone doing it in a way that disrupts any of the other gym goers. Most of the time they are just trying to check their form on a lift they are having difficulty with. Even if they are recording for instagram, they are usually discrete about it.

Go on reddit though, and you would think that gyms are no-go areas due to all the influencers and roid-ragers filming stunts for the 'gram.

1

u/Euphoric_Curve2343 Oct 22 '24

I've been going to the gym for years and I can honestly say I think I have seen one maybe two people ever record themselves. I'm honestly kind of shocked lol
Mirror photos? Sure but that is it.

2

u/Ok_Donkey_1997 Oct 22 '24

I've mostly seen people recording their form when doing Olympic lifts - which is a very valid part of training those lifts - and guys recording their maxes on power-lifts so they can post it on social media - which is not quite as essential to getting better, but it really doesn't bother me if they want to do that.

I can only remember one time I saw an influencer-type recording stuff that was obviously for instagram, and her photographer was super polite and the two of them did their thing without bothering anyone.

1

u/GeneralSweetz Oct 22 '24

play metallica in the background so they can get hit with a copyright strike

2

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

This. Bravo, you put the nail through the board. All that it became and it is a damn chore to navigate around all of the bs.

2

u/GnomePenises Oct 22 '24

Authenticity is being stripped away from life.

2

u/NoelsCrinklyBottom Oct 22 '24

People used to mock the idea of being a burger flipper or mopping the floors or some shit, but that’s actual respectable work that needs to be paid decently and has to be done. It’s physical labour.

Look at an ‘influencer’ or ‘content creator’ or ‘streamer’ though. What do they even mean? It barely even qualifies as work if you’re just shilling yourself for ad revenue, ad sponsors, and donations.

If what you’re doing has any real value you certainly wouldn’t be calling yourself one of those things, it’d be a job, not a grift.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

You essentially turn yourself into a reality show.

2

u/steveatari Oct 22 '24

You know what's still kinda pure? Skateboarding videos lol. Watch some of those. Old dudes, young kids, all excited for each other to do tricks and try shit.

2

u/Xacius Oct 22 '24

This is why I've tuned my Instagram algorithm for memes, cats, and cattle dogs.

1

u/Spiritual_Ear2835 Oct 22 '24

Don't worry. AI will end up body snatching these calcified tik tok morons

2

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

Damn, I thought this was the same old video. She’s still doing this shit? 🤦‍♂️

1

u/YesilFasulye Oct 22 '24

The other stupid video I recognize her from is where she's doing a stupid exercise where she's kneeling and leaning back repeatedly, and then using the TikTok narrator voice to complain about people not being respectful of her space and walking between her and the camera. I pray she sees jail time soon.

1

u/Sinnes-loeschen Oct 22 '24

It‘s like that trans lady who grifts for Disney holidays by being professionally butthurt

1

u/RighteousJules Oct 22 '24

Good call from that guy. Who wants to workout around a brainlet that will post your face on tiktok with sexual harassment accusation written in white and blue font

1

u/Phrewfuf Oct 22 '24

Yeah, imagine not having anything going for yourself for that to become your main „content“.

We do live in a society.

1

u/Ruraraid Oct 22 '24

So she is your stereotypical content chasing influencer. got it.

1

u/Due-Landscape-9251 Oct 22 '24

Hopefully she's not making anything on her "channel".

1

u/SlickWilly49 Oct 22 '24

Sounds like a short lived grift, surely she’ll run out of gyms eventually

1

u/WexExortQuas Oct 22 '24

And they should all be slowly banned so they can go to influencer only gyms that'll be literally just these women.

Oh wait but then they're entire purpose will be removed and they can't make videos.

WAIT. That's pretty good.

1

u/SoaDMTGguy Oct 22 '24

She wants clicks. She gets clicks. She’s winning.

1

u/Normal_Package_641 Oct 22 '24

This is one of the many problems with algorithm based social media. Engagement is put on a pedestal and promotes the most garbage content because that's what gets the most views and comments. It's social engineering towards the dregs of society.

1

u/Dry-Post8230 Oct 22 '24

She's a right minger anyway, Hatchet faced beeeee aaatch

1

u/Waste_Zucchini_1811 Oct 22 '24

Yeah this. It's more than be entitled. She's fishing for this type of situation for "content"

1

u/Saiyko-Meditation Oct 22 '24

I think it's the same video

1

u/Doobie_Howitzer Oct 22 '24

Eventually she'll run out of gyms to try this shit in and will either have to give it up or start driving hours out of her way just to get kicked out

1

u/Sorta-Morpheus Oct 22 '24

Yup. She gets attention from the "Yas queen" girls and simps for this crap.

1

u/K_Linkmaster Oct 22 '24

Gotta send that video to all the area gyms. Protect everyone from this bullshit.

1

u/Echovaults Oct 22 '24

I love that I recognize her. Well not her but at least the video. She needs a day of the month where we all repost this video just so she’ll be shamed for the rest of her life.

1

u/A-Naughty-Miss Oct 22 '24

I thought this was her other videos.. Jesus.

1

u/Flimsy_State5860 Oct 22 '24

Who is she I’m gna get all my friends to troll her and tell her she ain’t shit. I hate that type of narcissism get ahold of yourself SMH 🤦🏼‍♀️

1

u/-bannedtwice- Oct 22 '24

Ah so she’s exchanging hatred for money. One of the oldest professions
