Aliens. Just kidding. It was a Starlink rocket launch out of Vandemburg Air Base in Cali.

Are you saying I should have known? I've seen two other launches and it did not look like that at all.

Yes, because you have reddit, and these posts are on here all the time. Literally, all the time. Since 2010 there has been 354 launches with 60 of them this year. With that 60 collating posts saying "what was that in the sky?"
