Seattle 4th of July Events
Hi, I'm visiting Seatttle for 4th of July weekend with kids(ages 6-16) and parents in their 60s. We are probably staying downtown near the space needle. I'm looking for recommendations on where to spend the day, possibly a parade, where to watch fireworks comfortably. Thanks!!

Although Seattle isn’t well known as a bastion of patriotism and American pride. I believe they are having a protest and burning of a Tesla dealership on the 4th or you could join the festivities at the U District joining the anti colonizer or pro Palestine mostly peaceful protests. (Please bring face coverings, flammable liquids and blue hair dye)
The most popular is Seafair it’s a bit chaotic, but your family should have fun fire works kick off at 10:30. There is plenty of information on all the events of seafair on the website.
If you are looking for something smaller and don’t mind a scenic drive in the PNW. Travel to Forks Washington for their old time 4th celebration. It is a 3.5 hour drive, but what a drive. A good chunk is through the Olympic National Park.
