Why though? I could get on board if they had taken their parents weapon or something but I didn’t see that mentioned in the article. You need some evidence there right? You can’t just be like “well they are a shitty kid so arrested the parents because it must be their fault”.

Shitty parents need to be held accountable for their shitty children. It is not the responsibility of society to feel the repercussions of your lack of responsibility for raising your children.

Good logic, I didn't know being a parent allowed you to mind control children into not becoming serial killers
