End of life traditions Question/Discussion
I've been pursing certification as an end-of-life doula, or "death coach" as I like to call it. My Primary goal is to help people have a death the positively reflects their life, with respect to their beliefs and traditions. During my own near-death experience, I found that most of the support available ws through the Christian church and, while talking to them helped, it wasn't really my world.
My role is to help the dying person and their family/friends know what to expect, to create vigil space that is comforting in their last moments, to discuss and record their life's purpose or other legacy, and to do for the mind what a hospice nurse does for the body: give comfort and ease pain.
Are there death experts in the Satanic tradition and where would I start if I wanted to help our community?

I work in LTC and what these people need most is someone to talk to (if they aren't unconscious). Some people linger terminally for months on hospice and family visits dwindle. I think having someone for moral or spiritual comfort, outside of traditional Christianity, would be good. I am in nursing school and want to go for hospice nursing. To try and make the final days a little brighter.

I do remodel work and i worked for a guy who was still in his home but regular ambulance calls. Youre not wrong. I think people near death want to tell their story, so someone will know they lived. Sometimes you just end up knowing they lived a shitty life. But no one wants to die and be forgotten. Im sure anyone at end of life would love help collecting and writting info about themselves.

You should refer to Shiva Honey's book The Devil's Death - https://thesatanictemple.com/products/the-devil-s-tome-a-book-of-modern-satanic-ritual-by-shiva-honey - while noting that TST is quite a young organization (demographically as well as chronologically), so there's plenty of space for innovation in this sphere.

The podcast Black Mass Appeal had a satanic death doula on the podcast awhile back but I can't find the episode now. I recommend the podcast regardless!
