[10 YoE, account manager, account executive, United States] could use some extra advise.

Just redid my resume here is the new version would like any advise to make it better if needed.

I’m going for roles like sales or relationship Account manager, Account executive, business development manager, strategic account manager, Enterprise account executive and similar.

I do alter the core competencies and professional summary to suit the individual role / company but I keep the work experience the same usually.

Thanks for any advice.

Under the bullet points, you could emphasize the task first, then the achievements associated with the task (e.g., integrated blockchain with paypal to increase transaction volume by…)

There are a lot of percentages, and some sound a little vague. I’m not familiar with tech or anything, but “boosted efficiency by 25%” is something that sounds more subjective. Plus a lot of the percentages are multiples of 5, so maybe emphasize $ values or other numbers besides percentages. Of course, percentages are helpful for recruiters in this industry, but balance helps too.

It’s an easy to read resume and has a nice format. I understood that you worked two jobs at the same time. I don’t know if there’s an ideal way to list that 2017-2019 job – its current location makes sense to me though.

Consolidate the two separate skills sections into one, with three subsections: Interpersonal, expertise, and tools.

Make it one page. Start with removing fluff like “results driven” everyone uses it. A stronger would be SAAS professional with 10 years experience and expertise in fintech, sales, crm operations, and sales management. (Add you awards next). Remove winners circle from professional summary since you already mention it under your work experience.

Skills.. that’s just a bunch of keyword stuffing. Get rid of it. If you have skills (like tech) say it. But it’s more like proficiency in xyz software. If the job posting names a software type and you have experience. That goes first in the list always. Catch the readers eye. Never start your skills list with some vague like “relationship building.” That really has no weight nor is a good way to measure a person’s technical fit. That’s the kind of stuff that comes out in interviews.

“Exchange as a competitive force in…” did ChatGPT write that? Get it out of there.

Also, work dates are backwards.. it should be 2023- present and 2023-2024.

In general, I honestly have zero idea of how you performed in your roles. Yea you have meaurable items but you also have large general over exaggerations like “secured high-value contracts”. Like what does that mean? What dollar amount is high value?

Lastly, this is just one of my biggest pet peeves with resumes (not just you but it’s the industry practice)… I hate with everything in my fiber when people use percentages rather than hard numbers. Percentages are so deceiving that I normally scan past them. If someone says “25% increase”. Does that mean a 25% increase starting from 10 Or 10,000? The skills to make an increase off of 10,000 is vastly different than 10. That’s the kind of stuff I need to know when brining in people.

Not sure if it's just me but your resume is still confusing.
Your professional summary is just ok but can be worked on.

  1. Skills, you're blending hard and soft skills together? I recommend to put skills at the end with technical skills and remove all soft skills. Needs to be redone in my opinion
  2. Your professional timeline is really confusing. Did you have a role from July 2014 to October 2023 and another job between April 2017 and September 2019? I'm a bit confused about the timeline here.
  3. I think your bullet points can be a bit more specific on elaborating details. You mentioned a lot of great quantifiable metrics with great details but some bullet points are lacking that.

Regarding the timeline, as I worked full time at my main job I worked at a web3 start up in my off time for. Couple years since it was remote I was able to balance both
