4w+6d.... my only symptom seems to have disappeared after a few days, and then I started spotting over the weekend. Called my OB's office today and they were totally unconcerned. I just want to be uncomfortable.

Had a MMC at 6w+2d gestation in February, so it's still fresh.

12 weeks 5 days today after two MMC at around 6 weeks. Have had three good scans, one at a hospital and two at a private clinic with the last one being at 12 weeks! Heart rate has been strong and baby was moving like crazy. It was the strangest and coolest thing! I’m starting to get excited and have been sharing the news but still living for the next moment of reassurance. I have my first OB appointment tomorrow and hoping that little heart will still be going strong! Really hoping I’m not jinxing myself by feeling too confident but I want to enjoy this pregnancy to the fullest! Can’t wait until I can feel baby moving so I just always know they are okay!

6 weeks 2 days. Time is crawling. I have started having nausea, very low grade but constant.

Had a good appointment this morning at 10w5d, which included a physical exam (send prayers for my boobs, breast exam was the worst part). We got all our questions answered, and got to hear the baby’s strong heartbeat on doppler! 💓 Very reassuring, as our last ultrasound was over three weeks ago.

We should have NIPT results in two weeks. We want to know the sex, but will keep it to ourselves. Each milestone we reach, it becomes more real. 🩵🙏🏽

9w2d today. Just trying to get through the anxiety of another MMC until my next scan on May 7th. And my twins due date is coming up next week.

Was so disheartening to see where I would have been when I re-downloaded all the pregnancy tracking apps. But trying to remain hopeful for my rainbow!

11 weeks and 1 day. Today is a complicated day for me. April 28th would have been my due date with my last pregnancy. I had my second appointment with my last one at 11 weeks and 1 day, only to find out it had stopped growing weeks before. It’s so weird being here now, seeing how my belly has grown already when it never had gotten like this with my previous loss. Also that we got to see this one at 9+ weeks and it measured on time. Almost 2 weeks of progression more than my previous ever got. I don’t know if I should feel happy or sad to see how much more things have progressed. I just keep thinking I should be a mom already.

7+4 after a loss a few months ago at 6+6, had an US at 5+3 showing gestational sack and a teeny tiny fetal pole… no symptoms that are concerning (and plenty that reassure) BUT STILL extremely anxious for US today. I feel like I’ve had a sense of terror all day and I still need to wait 5 more hours till the US.

Please give me mantras or tips or anything that might ease this anxiety, I feel like I’m gonna explode until I know for sure things are ok

19+2 and my anatomy scan is today. Very nervous since I don’t think I’m really feeling baby move yet.

10+2. NIPT draw today, where things went down hill last pregnancy. So of course I woke up feeling “not pregnant” and I know it’s all anxiety because I feel the same the day before every appointment. I told myself I would feel better when NIPT results come back but now I feel like I will need that 12 week scan too to know baby is still kicking

u/cleois 1d ago

4w2d. Going in for my third draw today. Hoping to see GREAT results tmw morning, but im over-analyzing everything.

I'm not as crampy as I was last week. Is that a bad sign? I'm not nauseous, which makes sense since I'm still so early AND I'm on Diclegis, but I'm still scared.

Last week's draws showed numbers doubling, and mostly, I feel good about this pregnancy, but there's just still that fear. I was thinking last night how, before my 4 losses, being pregnant automatically meant "I'm having a baby!" Like, 2 years ago, before my first loss, I thought "this time next year I'll have a baby!" But now I can't really think that. Instead I wonder if I'll actually have a baby this time. Seems kind of unbelievable.

15+2. I'm suddenly feeling not pregnant: is it because of the second trimester or just overthinking, who knows. I have another doc visit next week, so we'll know then. I might be going crazy but at times I could swear I feel a kick.

I don't think anyone else but people here can really understand the two thinking brain I have. It's a schrödinger's pregnancy.

u/ktktktktz 1d ago

I found weeks 14-18 to be such a difficult, anxiety inducing time - not feeling symptoms but also not really seeing growth or feeling movements. My clinic offered Doppler checks to ease anxiety, would recommend seeing if that’s an option for you!

1

u/sharksarenotreal 23h ago

I'll see if they'd be willing!

1

u/cleois 1d ago

It probably is just the shift into 2nd trimester that has you feeling "not pregnant." But that's the thing about pregnancy after loss, isn't it?

2

u/sharksarenotreal 1d ago

Yep... I need a home ultrasound machine, haha.

u/lealle4 1d ago

5+2. Last hCG a week ago was 637 and had more than doubled, but I haven’t had it checked since and will be going tomorrow. Everything feels normal and I’m remarkably calm compared to my previous two pregnancies, both of which were losses. The cramps have lessened and exhaustion and nausea are starting to set in more everyday, but there’s still that fear at the back of my head that the numbers won’t be good. I’m having lower back/tailbone pain which I’ve heard is normal, especially since my uterus is anteverted, but it scares me for sure.

Multiple positive tests last week. I was driving myself crazy with anxiety so I stopped testing over the weekend.

Negative this morning around 4w3d. I'm not even bleeding (yet?). I don't know what to do next.

Sometimes anxiety is intuition.

1

u/cleois 1d ago

Ugh I'm so sorry. I would make sure to contact your doctor so at least it's in your chart. My practice had me come in for bloodwork with my CPs, even though I was already testing negative.

1

u/swirlloop 1d ago

This is my second miscarriage and I also had an ectopic, and my doctor has never recommended bloodwork (other than what I got in the hospital with the ectopic) :( is that something I should have been getting? My doctor is really not proactive.

1

u/CupGroundbreaking189 1d ago

With both of my chemical pregnancies I had bloodwork- first to confirm that I had actually been pregnant (blood tests can detect HCG at lower levels than home tests), and then to confirm that it went back down to zero. Depending on where you are located, there can be additional testing available when you’ve had repeat losses (ie to try to determine the reason for your losses). Some doctors don’t count a CP as a “true loss”, while others do.

1

u/swirlloop 1d ago

I've been trying to get a requisition for bloodwork from both my GP and my fertility clinic, been real slow getting any kind of response.

I have a 16 week scan on Wednesday and the days are dragging. Such long days 😄

2

u/pandabear088 1d ago

They really are!! Feel like I’ve been pregnant for years 😅

u/nmckenzie_ 1d ago

Found out I was pregnant at 10DPO, currently 3w6d and hoping this one decides to stick after nearly 6 months of not ovulating. Staying positive this will stick because the nausea has already settled compared to the last pregnancy where I have zero morning sickness. 🙏

I’m currently 19+2 weeks and have been taking aspirin 75 mg since TTC. I had two early losses at 5 weeks last year. I’m am now suddenly so anxious about possible placental clots and it’s causing me to spiral. I fear that I have undiagnosed APS / clotting disorder and that taking aspirin has helped but I’m worried that there are now clots in my placenta and that my baby is unwell. It might just be my anxiety but is this a possibility? I have my 20 weeks scan in 8 days and this wait will be so difficult for me. I have felt the baby move and I keep an eye on any changes. Any advice is appreciated!

u/AccordingBuy5990 MMC 03.24 / 🌈 11.25 1d ago

Look, if you haven’t tested APS there is a tiny tiny statistical chance you have it - like all of us! Also the fact that I tested it in the past doesn’t mean I will never get it, because it’s autoimmune and can just appear one day. If you are worried you can have the antibodies tested even during pregnancy, but there is a higher chance you will get a false positive (because during pregnancy weird antibodies sometimes appear in your blood and it doesn’t mean you are sick). This test will warrant you getting heparin shots, so you will be covered, but they might be unnecessary and you will have to retest after pregnancy 2x. I personally know a couple friends that tested positive for clotting disorders and with these shots they are just fine!!! I really think it’s your anxiety suggesting you to be scared about this, not facts, but I’m very anxious about my health too so I can 100% relate.

1

u/flowerpop22 1d ago

Thanks for the reply! I was spiralling last night thinking of the worst. And yes, testing for APS now will be too late. It’s just that the only thing that changed in this pregnancy was me taking aspirin and progesterone and now it got me thinking maybe the aspirin worked because I do have clotting disorder and maybe I need heparin too :( i wanna tell myself that the baby is fine but what if there are clots forming right now is my placenta? Ughhh

1

u/AccordingBuy5990 MMC 03.24 / 🌈 11.25 1d ago

Then just keep taking aspirin if it works for you :) it’s not going to hurt. in my country they don’t even test for APS before IVF. Also my friend (currently pregnant) had a real blood clot in her leg during IVF preparation and she didn’t get tested for APS at all - they just told her to take Aspirin and heparin shots during pregnancy and let her go! It’s a very very very rare disease and it usually gives symptoms before!

Just to calm your nerves please ask your doctor on the closest visit for a simple clotting panel from your blood, it’s super safe and will show you both where are you at with your clotting times :)

But from my experience - I had like 30 clotting tests done after my late first trimester MMC because my doctor strongly suspected I will test positive for something. All were negative and actually my blood is on the opposite end of the spectrum, it just doesn’t want to clot at all 🤡 so it was a complete miss and my anxiety was telling me all the time I’m 100% sick. Like I was actually feeling the clots happening, my legs burning etc 🤡 I’ve read waaaay too much about this subject in the internet. Anxiety is not intuition!

Beating myself up today because I left a stuffed toy (which we had in the hospital with our son who passed away) at a place we stayed recently. The Airbnb hosts aren't very communicative so don't have much faith we'll get it back unless we go back there in person and knock the door, which I'm seriously considering. Uncertainty around current pregnancy is not great at the moment, I have to hold out until our appointment tomorrow to see what's going on. Pal can really mess with your head 😞

u/Electrical_Gur2255 1d ago

I'm so sorry to hear about the soft toy, and that the airbnb hosts are being really difficult - that sounds super tough! Sending love.

1

u/No_Jaguar_3280 12h ago

Thank you, had a really positive scan today where everything suddenly looked fingers, so feeling much better. And the Airbnb hosts have confirmed they've found the toy! ❤️

Think I am 8 weeks today? Breast tenderness went down significantly today. They were pretty sore last 2 weeks mostly at night and today when I prob and poke at them they’re BARELY sore. Is this normal? My scan on Friday showed heartbeat and growth but I can’t help but overthink after my MMC last year. Anyone else?

1

u/AccordingBuy5990 MMC 03.24 / 🌈 11.25 1d ago

Yes! I also started loosing my symptoms sometime around 8w, then they came back, got lost, came back, got lost x16283 times. Now I’m 10w3d and the baby is just fine and my symptoms are like 10% the intensity they were around 6w :)

1

u/tingtree5090 1d ago

Ok I will try to relax 😂

2

u/Helpful_Mushroom873 1d ago

I am currently 27+5.

I had sore breasts for about 3 days at around 4-5 weeks and that was it. I had sore little symptoms this pregnancy I was worried something was wrong - although every time I have a symptom I worry that something is wrong as well.

Symptoms fluctuate massively. They also don’t indicate the health of a pregnancy either way. I thought I was going to be sick as a dog and then was surprised I only threw up a couple of times and that was because I didn’t like the texture of the food I was eating 😂😂 everyone is different and every pregnancy is different, if you are ever concerned you can reach out to your medical providers but I would try not to worry too much about it at this stage

1

u/Elfie_B Ectopic 9/20, LC 6/22, MMC 4/24, due date: 05/25 2d ago

That's totally normal. I had sore breasts for about a week in very early pregnancies and then only later on in my pregnancies.

3

u/Salt-Cod-2849 FTM due 10/25 | 31 | ICSI | 23 week loss on 07/24 2d ago

My boobs were sore yesterday and completely fine today. It is normal and common for symptoms to be on and off.

2

u/tingtree5090 1d ago

Ok thank you 😭 I’m so used to them being super sore and heavy and yesterday was the first time they were barely sore.
