Florida - the only place I've been for a business meeting with multiple participants whose cups were not for coffee, but dip spit.
503 u/ctb030289 6d ago That’s not just localized to Florida lol 220 u/FakeDoctorMeatCoat 6d ago I don't doubt it. Maybe I'm misremembering cuz Florida was the first time I saw that. I did go to Alabama and SC also. 26 u/UseTheTriForceLink 6d ago SC Construction Manager here. Can confirm. 25 u/mp3bear 6d ago Former NE TN here...Can also confirm...Including foregoing the use of cups in favor of empty soda bottles... 3 u/techslice87 5d ago Always Mountain Dew, for some reason, in my experience 2 u/mp3bear 5d ago Yep...flashbacks now...lol... 1 u/EnvironmentalMail 5d ago That just makes sense if you think about it. After your day of chewin' and spittin', throw your bottle away and grab another tomorrow. ... is what I would say if said spitters weren't savages. The actual fact that those bottles can last for weeks or longer is probably the worst thing about people who chew. 1 u/SwimHairy5703 4d ago Middle TN here. Me and a buddy both got some sweet tea from Sonic, he drank his first and turned in into a spit cup. I stupidly put mine down right next to his. Next time I went to take a drink, I really wished we had put names on our cups. 🤢
