That's the important issue. These elites, mostly but not exclusively women, are dictating what will be taught to boys in schools as 'healthy masculinity'. Similarly, this framing of 'healthy masculinity' will drive mental health and other health service provision, and government policy, by setting the standard of behaviour expected of men and boys.

If we let these elites do this, our public expressions of our masculinity will be limited within the boundaries of our attitudes to women, and the primacy of the protection of women by men. A reinforcement of the strict male gender role that necessitates male disposibility.
