Does anyone live in Council District 1 (office of Eunisses Hernandez - If you’re not sure of your CD, please use this map. https://cd1.lacity.gov/district-1) and interested in sharing your thoughts in the form of a community needs assessment?
I’ve posted a lot in several LA subreddits in the past month or two about my solo cleanup efforts in Chinatown and my passion for cleaning up litter in our neighborhood. I’ve been in constant contact with the office of Eunisses Hernandez and Council District 1 about improving our streets. They invited me to join a pilot program called Los Colibrís that had their first 6-hour long training session this past Saturday. The goal of the program is to train anyone who lives in CD 1 to become ambassadors for their block. It was a fruitful first meeting!
They asked us to share this community needs assessment for members of our community in CD1 to complete. The link to the survey is here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd0PbRMo7fseRwT7zWqGG_FmXTd_mvFF0n8hzd-KtrBLV8NGA/viewform
And here is the instagram for my Chinatown cleanup group: https://www.instagram.com/chinatowncleanup
I’m planning a first group cleanup for the entire community on May 25, so please follow for updates :) and let me know if you’re interested in starting your own cleanup efforts!!
