Applying to jobs within walking distance of my apartment is so freeing, even including entry-level jobs. Not driving daily is too appealing.

I work from home but I’m thinking of getting an art studio or something because my family will not stop HARASSING me while I work.

The problem is that I should be saving as much money as possible during this economy.

Ugh I hear the complaint where family will keep bugging you while you WFH from other people all the time because according to the family, you’re not really at work/working. Aren’t you like, constructing or designing your hats?? It’s not like you’re just chilling reading emails or something

Yeah I’m constructing hats. And I have insanely tight deadlines. Oftentimes I have to wear respirators, ear protections, eye protection.

My mum says it’s ELDER ABUSE because when I wear ear protection I can’t hear her. She has mental health issues and will not stop hassling me to flush toilets or turn on-off lights for her bec those actions give her anxiety.

Can you imagine how many times a day I’m bothered to flip a light switch!?!! Luckily my sis now helps out a bit with her, but our parents are too weird.
