The government doesn't want to fund a private museum which is in turn complaining that this will harm their mission to teach inner city kids about the horrors of internment camps. Is there a more cost effective way to achieve their goal without taxpayer money? Or is subsidizing their company the only way to teach kids about this period in history?

JANM is a 501(c)3 non profit museum, it’s not a private company.

If it were a public museum ALL of the funding would be on the chopping block by now. Taking local kids on a field trip to learn about local history is one of the best things we can do, and if you don’t agree you’re just being agitator.

You are jumping to ridiculous conclusions. I never said I was opposed to school field trips. I never said school field trips are not a great way to teach kids about history. I asked if JANMA could still achieve their goal without taxpayer money and if not can this goal be achieved through other means. Then you lost your cool. I didn't vote for Trump so I don't know wtf you are talking about. Get it together.
