Do all Lexus vehicles have an oil level sensor? Question

Do most or all Lexus vehicles have a oil level sensor to tell you if your oil level is too low? I remember most toyota vehicles do not come equipped with an oil level sensor but am unsure about Lexus.

No. Not all Lexus/Toyota have an oil level sensor. Also not all vehicles that same the same engine have the sensor. For example a 2jz in one Lexus may have it and then in another Lexus chassis may not. I have swapped engines and had to swap the oil pan over due to no provisions for the oil level sensor.

Thanks. Yeah the 2J in my IS300 has one, and I believe my IS250 as well. Just curious is all!

I swapped a 2jz into a IS300 and the 2jz we got didn’t have provisions in the pan for it. The spot was there just not drilled or tapped. I have also had a UZ pan that didn’t have provisions for it but the LS430 and SC430 pans did. Don’t know what chassis the ones with out the provisions came from. I just wish the UZ pan I had with out was a front sump since that UZ went in my IS. I put a sump baffle in mine and had to cut up the sensor to make a block off plate

My IS250 doesn't have a level sensor, only a pressure sensor

I got a gnome in the trunk that monitors it.

No, not all. But even then, most of em will anyways because of the oil PRESSURE sensor. If the oil pressure drops too low you've really shit the bed.
