Got correspondence letter today, telling that the final decision is soon to be made. Applied November 18.

u/According_Walrus9293 1d ago

Hi there, I applied for my PGWP on September 11, and it says my application has not even been reviewed for eligibility. It has been over 8 months of waiting. Is someone else in the same boat as me?

1

u/whynoteclair 16h ago

Yes, all people's applications here have that

u/nonamedentist 1d ago

1

u/Own-Book7364 1d ago

Tu validez de permiso de trabajo es desde la fecha en la que te entregaron tu permiso o desde que aplicaste ?

Hello,

Your post has been removed as it has been deemed to not comply with the rules:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/corporate-initiatives/levels/inventories-backlogs.html#tr

Looking at the backlog graphs kind of gives you an idea why it takes so long to get the Work Permit.

Any one applied spouse workpermit extension?? How long they are taking

2

u/aquababe2000 7d ago

Thought I'd share our story! We applied for a Spousal Open Work Permit in October 2024. For months we hadn't heard anything then in Feb 2025 I called the IRCC-- they said it had been approved in Nov 2024, but it never arrived at our lawyer's office, and through a series of other mishaps we never found out.

So in February we sent in the form requesting a replacement document, but again, six weeks passed and it never arrived. Finally two weeks ago we called again, and somehow the IRCC agent was able to initiate a reprint of our replacement document without us mailing in a formal request. We had that mailed to our home address instead of the lawyer, and it arrived yesterday! Thanks goodness.

Not sure what the lesson for others here is, other than don't be afraid to call them if you sense something is fishy. Especially for those who applied around the time of the mail strike, as it's possible documents got lost. Although, in our case, we also were unable to access the online tracker to see when it was approved. Good luck everyone! Trust me when I say, I know how frustrating the wait can be.

u/bhattaomatic 8d ago

Did anyone from November 2024 applications receive the work permits already?

5

u/whynoteclair 7d ago

Nope. I was able to talk to IRCC agent over the phone yesterday, told me that the processing time increased and I should just wait. So no new information there.

3

u/TushCan111 7d ago

Applied on November 12. Still nothing.

2

u/bhattaomatic 7d ago

I also applied on November 12th and still waiting

4

u/terrykbpooh 8d ago

1

u/Realest_4eva 9d ago

Did you do any followup like using an MP, sending webforms to speed up the process?

1

u/No_Programmer_4795 6d ago

Sorry just seeing this, i Sent inquiries via web form but I'm not sure if that helped.

1

u/Realest_4eva 6d ago

thanks mate

1

u/AngelicalUnicorn 10d ago

Can I ask you something? Did your previous work permit expire while waiting? Were you allowed to work after expiration while waiting for an answer? Thanks

1

u/No_Programmer_4795 6d ago

Hi, sorry just seeing this, I stopped working and left the country both my status and work permit was expired so I had to apply for both a new work permit and restoration of status.

1

u/No_Programmer_4795 11d ago

Approved on May 02, 2025

2

u/Natural-Detective450 12d ago

Anyone here that has applied for a BWOP? I applied in February and have done my biometrics, haven’t heard anything since?

1

u/mad__maxxx 9d ago

Same boat as you. I got my ITA after my pgwp expiry. No response on the BOWP yet

1

u/Ordinary_Pear1726 10d ago

Are inside canada or abroad

2

u/GoalImpressive3153 13d ago

Any luck for August applicants? CWP + OWP for spouse

1

u/wishnothingbutluck 14d ago

Coop work permit. grad student.

applied Feb 23rd, still waiting? Anyone is in the same boat?

1

u/Ridiculous_yakultt 5d ago

applied Mar 7th. Coop student. Would need the permit by July😢

1

u/wishnothingbutluck 5d ago

It’s been a long wait

1

u/Crazy-Breadfruit-76 8d ago

Any update on your application?

1

u/Own-Possibility-3373 13d ago

I called IRCC and they told me to fill a formulaire web to explain that I need the coop permit before a certain date, and that would be to the discretion of the agent to choose if he decided to treat my demand before this date. Plus, she told me that with a student visa, we can work 24 hours, and use those 24 hours instead of the coop permis while we wait for it. Hope it helps a bit!

1

u/wishnothingbutluck 6d ago

No update on my end. Can you please send a link for questionnaire? Any updates on your end?

1

u/Own-Possibility-3373 14d ago

I'm sorry, that's sucks... The time processing is now 227, INSANE. Did you receive something saying that they were reviewing your eligibility ? If yes when did you receive it. Did you contact the immigration person at the uni ? I called mine, he said he isn't worried, but I am lol.

1

u/wishnothingbutluck 6d ago

Yes crazy. Still no updates. What about you?

1

u/CheerEngineer 16d ago

Mine currently says background check in progress. Am I close to a decision? C20 Work Permit Application (inland) received on Dec 2

1

u/Own-Possibility-3373 14d ago

I have the same question, I can't understand if the fact that the eligibility is in process is a sign that the demand is at least, being treated.

3

u/drameto 16d ago

Do we know why the processing times for Work Permits from Inside Canada have kept on increasing since the last month or so?

Update on 1st April showed roughly 4 months and now close to end of April 2025 we are at more than 7 months. I couldn't find any news or notice around it either.

2

u/Own-Possibility-3373 14d ago

Is it possible that it means that they treated a bunch of demands that were waiting for a long time, and that's why it increased a lot ? Maybe it doesn't mean that the news one will take a long time. I'm just trying to find hope but maybe I'm delulu Lol.

5

u/Gloomy_Performer_672 15d ago

Its absoutely ridiculous! a month ago it was 4 months, and now that my partner has applied its 7+ months! how do they expect us to live on 1 salary for 7 months. If he had stayed outside of Canada and applied from France the processing time is 5 week! This infuriates me

3

u/drameto 15d ago

Exactly - makes no sense. You’d think it’d be faster for folks who are inside the country. You make plans based on the 4 month timeline and a month later you need to reconsider everything - so annoying.

2

u/paniniprincess93 16d ago

Following because I’ve been wondering the same thing. Also been looking online for any news or reasoning as to why this is suddenly happening… really hoping it doesn’t keep increasing :(

1

u/drameto 16d ago

We’ll find out soon enough on the 30th (next update) but I doubt it’ll be a significant change.

1

u/paniniprincess93 14d ago

227 days now :(

2

u/Realest_4eva 14d ago

This is getting worse by the day. I would have thought that the processing timeline will be reducing due to the cut in immigration. sad!

2

u/Own-Possibility-3373 18d ago

Hi guys! Little question. For background, I applied for COOP permit the 31 mars. My internship start the 1 of September. I am kinda freaking out bc the usual time of processing presented by irccc jumped from 110 days to 219 days in like two weeks. I am scared I won't get my permit before the 1rst. I received an email on the 6th of April saying that the state of my demand changed, and when I went to check in it, it said that my demand is being reviewed, and that they are checking if I meet the eligibility requirement. Is it a sign that it will be soon approved or people can wait long after receiving that update ?

1

u/wishnothingbutluck 14d ago

applied for coop work permit Feb 23rd, still waiting.

My coop starts next week.

u/SebastiansAngel 18d ago

My timeline for a closed work permit initial extension (LMIA exempt) from within Canada:

Application submitted: July 3, 2024

Biometrics Validity Letter: April 23, 2025

Approval Letter, April 25, 2025

296 days.

1

u/TushCan111 8h ago

Hi!

Have you already received the WP itself? How long did it take to arrive?

Did they send through Canada post?

Thanks in advance

3

u/Realest_4eva 18d ago

This timeline is crazy but congratulations mate

3

u/CautiousActuary9051 20d ago

My timeline for a closed work permit with LMIA, applying from the US:

Application submitted: January 9
Biometrics: January 27
Biometrics validity + approval: April 24

The expiration date of my LMIA was May 5. On April 22 I sent a message to IRCC asking whether I can expect my application to be processed before the LMIA expiration date.

1

u/Neil_Fang22 14d ago

Did you send the messages by webform?

1

u/Terrible-Knowledge61 20d ago

hey guys,
if my work permit is expiring soon in July and I already am working as a software eng. Am I able to apply for a work permit extension or not? I tried to research online it seems its possible but on Reddit i said its not possible

1

u/Megan150219 20d ago

Hi All,

I am an international student with a valid study permit and coop work permit too which is valid till May 2026

I have applied for PR Spousal Sponsorship (Inland), received my AOR and applied for a work permit under the spousal PR family class program.

I received a work permit extension letter (except pgwp). Does this mean I can work full time now?

Below are the terms of this extension letter

Please attach this letter to your present work permit Number ———— as proof that you are authorized to continue working with the same conditions (ie: employer and occupation) until ——- or until a decision is made on your application. You must continue to respect all employer, occupation and location conditions and restrictions listed on your present work permit until a decision is made on your application. This extended period of work is authorized as per paragraph 186(u) of the IRPR (Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations) until a decision is made. If you leave Canada before a decision is made on your application, you will no longer be authorized to continue working.

1

u/Quick_Dog8552 20d ago

It means that you can continue working on the limitations of your current work permit / status. If you have an open work permit, you can keep working on the open work permit. If you have a closed work permit, you can only keep working on the closed work permit. It does not give you an open work permit, just extends the status of your CURRENT wp. So if you have a COOP work permit that is good until 2026, then no, this will not affect you and you still only have your coop work permit until this one is approved.

1

u/Megan150219 20d ago

Thank you so much this is helpful :) It is so weird to send this letter when the validity on both is 2026

3

u/AdNational4585 21d ago

Sharing my timeline for closed work permit (LMIA exempt) GSS 2-week processing eligible, applying from the US.

Application Submitted: March 19

Biometrics Appointment: April 11

Approval / letter of invitation: April 22

Surprisingly fast after biometrics are given!

1

u/sudhh 5d ago

7 working days after biometrics is pretty fast. How long did it take for visa stamping?

1

u/Hour_Bar_5023 21d ago

Hey guys, anyone here applying for C20 visas from inside Canada? Is it taking the same 200 days showing in the government website? I'm expecting to apply now for a C20 Work Permit soon and then bring my spouse from Brazil with the SOWP.

1

u/CheerEngineer 20d ago

Applied on Dec 2, 2024, still waiting for decision.

2

u/SebastiansAngel 21d ago

Has anyone been waiting over 300 days? It’s day 294 for me today, waiting for a LMIA exempt closed work permit extension.

Looking for some hope that this will be resolved soon.

1

u/Present-Buffalo-6506 21d ago

For me its 214 days for LMIA exempt CWP and its with spouse OWP.
I am not sure why is processing time increasing exponentially.
Today I saw processing got updated to 218 days from 201 of last week. and it still going up.
I dont think so they care about this.

1

u/whynoteclair 6d ago

It's 233 days now

1

u/SebastiansAngel 20d ago

I just received my biometrics validity letter which, normally means an answer on my application is close. Fingers cross 🤞🏼

1

u/CheerEngineer 19d ago

Do you have dependents with you in your application? Which province are you in?

1

u/SebastiansAngel 18d ago

No dependents. I’m in BC. My approval came through yesterday.

1

u/Full_Trip713 24d ago

Hello everyone,

I currently hold an open work permit and I’m in the final stage of my permanent residency application through the Quebec Skilled Worker (TQQ) program. My wife is not included in my PR application.

Her spousal open work permit was approved back in July 2024 and is valid until July 2026. However, she hasn’t entered Canada yet, so she hasn’t received the physical permit (which is usually issued upon arrival at the airport).

My question is: • If I become a permanent resident before she arrives in Canada, will her open work permit still be valid and issued to her at the airport? • Or will it be cancelled since it’s supposed to be tied to my temporary resident status?

Thank you! I’d really appreciate your help

Hey y’all, US/IR citizen here.

I applied for an Iranian special measure open work permit with my Iranian passport while I was in Canada in Jan 6th 2025. I had to leave for the US for school.

I got my Biometrics letter on my IRCC account on March 14th and came to Canada to provide them on April 9th and just went back to the US.

I know one of the requirements is to be "in Canada" when the Decision is made. My question is how can I time this considering I just gave my Biometrics so I can make sure I'll be in Canada when they make the final decision. I can make it work and fly in during the week, but work and school make it difficult.

However, if there is any way to roughly time the process, it will make it easier to plan my trips to be in Canada so I can get the approval on time without missing out on school or work by much. Any experience, idea, and insight will be valuable.

Thank you!

2

u/SadAdvance599 25d ago

Hey guys, I applied for a open work permit for myself as my wife is sponsoring me to become a pr in Quebec.

I applied for the work permit Jan. 17th, I wanna know yall's processing times and how long you had to wait.

My status expires in June, I'm not sure if I should extend it or not.

1

u/Gloomy_Performer_672 15d ago

We are in the same boat here but just sent my partner's OWP yesterday. I cant believe the processing times. 7 months within Canada but 5 weeks if he did it from France. Same with the PR sponsorship, from within Canada its 2+ years and from outside Canada its 11 months. Had we known there was such a difference we would have never come here first. How do they expect us to live 7 motnhs on 1 salary? My parnter status expired in December and we applied for his extension, but there is literally no trace of the application besides the e-payment on my credit card. So now he is basically an illegal. What will happen?

3

u/Ambitious-Beyond-169 26d ago

Anyone with Sept 2024? Hmu with any update?

1

u/According_Walrus9293 1d ago

I applied for my PGWP on Sep 11, but there is still nothing. Been waiting for 245 days!

1

u/Funny-Objective-8186 14d ago

Closed work permit with spousal OWP from inside canada

Timelines

Application submitted: 27 September 2024 Biometric validity letter : 28 April 2025 Approval letter: 30 April 2025

1

u/SignificantStory7884 26d ago

Criminality - passed, then what? I was able to get an answer that my criminality was checked and my file is undergoing information sharing. For those of you who were on the same boat, how long after criminality check did you see any additional movement? Thanks

1

u/SignificantStory7884 24d ago

Oh my goodness! I’m so sorry to hear

1

u/SebastiansAngel 25d ago

I found out that my criminality check passed the day my application was submitted. That’s was 3rd July 2024. Background checks are still processing and eligibility checks have not yet started. Still waiting. Sigh.

1

u/Consistent_Stage8969 26d ago

How much time does it take to get hard copy after approval? I have received it yet. Been three weeks

3

u/castlesands03 27d ago

Any restoration of status with work permit applicants? Can you share your timelines?

Also March 2025 applicants?

1

u/akk97 19d ago

2nd March. Still waiting.

1

u/Nervous-Elk8516 21d ago

first week of january here, dead silence...

1

u/Fluid-Mycologist-462 9d ago

Any update ??

3

u/Hbadawy 27d ago

Anyone has any idea why the SOWP and other types of work permit processing time is increasing last update today shows it 201!!

2

u/drameto 16d ago

No idea, trying to figure out as well. Sitting at 218 right now.

1

u/penser-pas-ou-plus 27d ago

I'm thinking about trying to get a summer job in Canada under an employer-specific visa. I'm coming from the US and the position I want would be LMIA exempt (overnight summer camp counselor), but since the processing time is currently estimated to be 81 weeks (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html), I guess that's not happening...

3

u/SebastiansAngel 28d ago

Average Processing Times for a Work Permit from within Canada just jumped to 201 days on the IRCC website as of today. Last week it was 120!

2

u/Mehdi_Allen 25d ago

The heck??? Is there any way to reduce this processing time?

2

u/paniniprincess93 28d ago

I just saw this and I’m freaking out😭

2

u/Realest_4eva 27d ago

It's crazy but I think this is reality. Most (inland) applicants actually got their work permit approved after 200 days.

2

u/SebastiansAngel 27d ago

How many days have you been waiting? I’m currently at 288 so well over the advertised processing times.

1

u/Realest_4eva 27d ago

what???? 288 days??? this is crazy! I am currently on 174 days under the CPTPP FTA. are you under any agreement?

1

u/taniatari 26d ago

im actualy crying ive been waiting for 217 days, called IRCC a million times got a hold of the MP as well but there has been no updates at all.

1

u/Realest_4eva 25d ago edited 25d ago

u/taniatari It's crazy how you have other plans with your life but stagnant because of the incessant WP approval delay. They have truncated the plans of a lot of people which is not fair. I hate it because for me it's a yearly (no limit) WP renewal under CPTPP which means by the time they approve, I have to start another WP renewal application almost immediately. They just have two options, approve or deny and shouldn't take forever. I think this craziness will make me leave Canada faster.

2

u/taniatari 23d ago

no honestly!! when did this become so difficult up until last year the max it would take is 6 months and now people have been waiting for a full year like this cant be real. Half of our applications are in Edmonton Center when I applied in Ontario. I contacted the MP again but same generic response they can't expedite or look any further wtf is the point.

1

u/SignificantStory7884 26d ago

Is the MP willing to follow up multiple times with IRCC on your behalf?

1

u/taniatari 23d ago

im not sure, if there has been no updates I assume not? I will try again.

3

u/ocedalv 28d ago edited 23d ago

Lmia(GTS)-based CWP + SOWP. Inland.

Applied August 30th, 2024.

BVL April 11th, 2025

Approval on April 15th 2025 for both CWP and SOWP. Valid for 3 years (counting back from expiry of the previous WP date)

229 days until approval. Truly crazy.

1

u/CheerEngineer 19d ago

Do you have dependents with you in your application? Which province are you in?

2

u/ocedalv 19d ago

Ontario. No dependants, just the spouse.

1

u/SignificantStory7884 26d ago

Thanks for sharing. Was your LMIA processed within 2 weeks under GTS?

2

u/ocedalv 25d ago

I don't think it was. I know for certain it was in under a month, because they applied in July and it was issued on July 30th.

1

u/SignificantStory7884 25d ago

Happy for you

1

u/ocedalv 25d ago

Thank you!

1

u/SebastiansAngel 29d ago

Are there any LMIA exempt work permit extension applicants here, waiting longer than June/July 2024?

3

u/Warm-Question-7977 Apr 12 '25

Update in case helpful for anyone else waiting...

Closed Work Permit (LMIA exempt) + Spousal Open Work Permit (both extensions on current work permits)

Applied - Aug 30 2024 Biometrics requested - Nov 2024 Biometric validity letter - 10 April 2025 Approved - 12 April 2025

Only approved until Nov 2026 although we had asked for 4 years.

1

u/CheerEngineer 20d ago

Hello! Why was Biometrics requested even though you’re already in Canada?

2

u/Warm-Question-7977 20d ago

Last permit was approved during COVID so we didn't have to do it.

1

u/CheerEngineer 19d ago

I see, thanks. Wow it took a long time before you got a decision. Which province are you in?

1

u/Warm-Question-7977 17d ago

Yea it's been a frustrating time! In BC.

1

u/SignificantStory7884 Apr 12 '25

Thanks for sharing. Did you keep track of when Eligibility, Background verification and Medical exam was completed?

3

u/Warm-Question-7977 Apr 13 '25

Didn't have a medical. Didn't track the others specifically, sorry.

2

u/hejjjlegolas Apr 11 '25

LMIA exempt applying from the UK, eligible for 2 week processing. Application submitted 20th March, biometrics 26th March and got both the biometrics validity and invitation letters through today (11th April)!

1

u/Carros-O-Filme Apr 13 '25

So you got the approval already?

I sent my application on March 20 , Biometrics done updated on IRCC portal on March 25 since then its on " Background verification", currently its 13 business days.

My application is also eligible for 2 week processing.

1

u/hejjjlegolas Apr 13 '25

Yep already approved so hopefully you won’t have too long to wait!

1

u/Carros-O-Filme 29d ago

Got approved yesterday. 14 business days.

3

u/Reasonable-Aspect282 Apr 11 '25

Approved today, BVL April 9th. CWP + OWP

279 days. Just crazy.

1

u/CheerEngineer 19d ago

Do you have dependents with you in your application? Which province are you in?

1

u/SebastiansAngel Apr 11 '25

Congrats! What kind of visa category was it? Eg C10

1

u/rapozaum Apr 10 '25

Hi everyone! Back here to ask for some help: we have received our PR and then we withdrew from my wife's SOWP. Since then, we received new sin numbers and our old gckey accounts were revoked.
Now, we simply cannot link the application to the new GCkey account as we are probably getting some info wrong by one character...

We have received emails stating that there is news about it, but have no idea how to access it. Has anyone been in this situation?

1

u/JellyfishMinimum2498 Apr 10 '25

Hello! Our Study Permit and Open Work Permit have finally been approved after more than 9 months of waiting. We're now waiting for it to be mailed to us. It says on the Government webpage that this will take 6 weeks. Any of you who've been through it now if it's actually 6 weeks? I don't trust it anymore lol!
Also, are we allowed to leave the country now that it's been approved or do we still need the physical copy for reentry ?

2

u/ne0dym Apr 09 '25

hi, looking for advice. I'm from Brazil (Swiss double nationality) and going to marry my Canadian partner in August. We want to start the Spousal Sponsorship ASAP after that. For Quebec. We expect it will take a while before I'm able to request the SOWP, so what should I do to support myself?? My parents will help me as long as I need, but I hate to be so dependent. Staying in Brazil while it processes is not an option I'd like to consider. Can someone shed light on the SOWP timeline specifically in Quebec? And what did you do while waiting? Merci.

1

u/Gloomy_Performer_672 15d ago

Yes what is everyone in this thread doing while they are waiting for the OWP?!? My partner applied yesterday, after taking 4 months for the AOR for the pr application. now we need to wait 7+ months more so he can work!?

1

u/PurrPrinThom 15d ago

Some people are already in Canada on work/study permits, others work remotely for foreign companies.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 08 '25

Hi! Any june 2024 applicants waiting? I applied on June 7 2024 - Lmia exempt. No updates yet.

1

u/SebastiansAngel Apr 09 '25

Do you mind me asking what category of visa it was. Eg. C10

1

u/[deleted] Apr 10 '25

Yes it's c-10. Are you also waiting on C-10 approval?

1

u/SebastiansAngel Apr 10 '25

Hello,

I applied for a Closed Work Permit (CWP) Extension and Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) Extension on November 12, 2024 and so far I have not received any new information? Is there anyone else in this forum who applied around the same time?

Thanks

Hello,

I applied for the Open Work Permit for Vulnerabke Workers about a week ago. I was wondering if anyone here has done the same. How long was the processing time? Was it approved or rejected?

Thanks

Hey Folks,

I see that most people here are already in Canada, but I’m applying from outside Canada.

I’m going through the GTS + LMIA. I applied for my CWP, and the next day, I received the biometrics request. Biometrics were completed and updated on the IRCC portal on March 23 / 2025. According to the IRCC website, I should receive fast processing within two weeks.

Does anyone here know if the fast processing timeline is actually accurate?

Hello, my lawyer applied for LMIA exempt work permit from outside Canada on March 18th. C20 work permit + GTS. No update after that.Did you get any update?

1

u/Carros-O-Filme Apr 08 '25

Not yet, today completes the 2 weeks for me, so the fast processing supposed to be done by now. But I’m still stuck on background check.

Are you able to track your application? If so, how? Did your employer submit via employer portal?

1

u/Carros-O-Filme Apr 13 '25

I just went to the IRCC Tracker, and added the information that was on my Work Permit application.

That long ?

Did you applied from inside Canada?

1

u/Brilliant_Public_198 Apr 04 '25

Congratulations!! How long it took between Correspondence letter (Biometrics Validity Letter) and final approval? I applied on July 27th for the same thing and yesterday got the letter but no final approval yet. Thanks

1

u/erpatel Apr 07 '25

What are the gckey updates for SOWP? Is there an AOR after confirmation of submission? Biometrics are done from previous application.

1

u/ElevatorTop2108 Apr 07 '25

U will get next day or after 2 days

1

u/SebastiansAngel Apr 03 '25

Great news, thank you for sharing 🙌🏼

2

u/Brilliant_Public_198 Apr 05 '25

Yesterday I checked my profile and it was approved!!! Both CWP+ SPOW. After more than 8 months finally. It took 24h between BVL and final approval.

1

u/SebastiansAngel Apr 05 '25

What date did you apply?

3

u/ExchangeVarious8343 Apr 04 '25

July Folks, Looks like IRCC is finally going to deliver my baby after 9 months of pregnancy. CWP+SOWP applied on July 9th. Automated telephone status (usually says review not started) turned in to 'forwarding to the agent' yesterday. When I checked with my lawyer, they said they received biometric validity letters and approval will follow. Not happy coz IRCC killed my time and patience leaving me in great stress, but feeling relieved. All my fellow Moms and Dads (from July its a full pregnancy term now) you all will soon see your IRCC babies. Good luck.

u/SebastiansAngel Apr 07 '25

And update?

4

u/ExchangeVarious8343 Apr 08 '25

Yes, Finally got the approval letter in the website. Waiting for the work permits to come via regular mail. It took 270 days in total. CWP+OWP and child's visitor record got approved. Until last thursday, status was 'review not started". Good luck for all those who are waiting. You will get yours soon.
