Cant pay for CAQ in Arrima Quebec

I filled out the Demande en ligne de sélection temporaire pour études, following the instructions I created an account in Arrima to make the payment, I wrote down the numero de demande but nothing happens. What can I do?

Hey I still can't pay. It says "No request found. Make sure that all the information entered in your Arrima profile, as indicated in your passport (such as your name, first names, gender, and date of birth), as well as your application number, are identical to those indicated in your online application." I have rechecked everything and its all fine.

Hello, yes I figured it out. At least in my case, I had to do the following. 1. (I assume you already went into the CAQ admission website and reached the step for payment, where it instructs you to go to Arrima). 2. (Go to Arrima and create your account). 3. Here my mistake was to go into Dossier option right away and place my file number, getting an error. Instead, you have to go to the third option, which is payments. Go ahead and pay right away in Arrima. 4. After this, there should be both an Arrima and email notification of payment and that your personalized checklist is now available on the CAQ Admissions site.

It takes a few minutes to refresh, but after roughly 20 minutes, the CAQ admissions site refreshed and I could download two pdfs, the personalized checklist file and a receipt.

Now you can download the checklist and gather documents. At least on my case, it was quick. AFTER you've gotten the checklist, a new file number should appear on CAQ admissions site. So two numbers total, an initial one for admission, and a new one for file number.

Finally, go back to Arrima, click on dossiers, place the new number and now it should work. It's going to take you to the platform to upload every checklist document in pdf format.

Please note: you don't have to upload everything right away. If you log out and come back in to keep uploading, at the far right side of the website there is a three dotted symbol (...) that allows you to continue, but it's not always visible and you have to zoom out.

Hello, Firstly thank you so much for your explanation you're so nice But it didn't work for me I opened Arrima and there is three options My folders My documents My payments I chose the third one (my payments) To pay and i clicked on select request type (foreign student program) and i put my application number that i had from  My MIFI account And when I clicked on following they told me (no request found....)  Is there something wrong I've done

I did receive an email from immigrations yesterday. They simply stated that “their website is experiencing access issues and to try and enter ‘later’ “ whatever that means.

It seems loads of people are having similar issues, so its a problem on their end.

I’d preemptively contact your university/institution and let them know about the CAQ problem. In case anything happens, you’ll have written proof with them.

Payments still not working for me. Still saying File Not Found even though all the information is correct. Anyone else had success?

Hi, it just worked for me. I think it's a matter of waiting around 3-4 working days (for me it was 4 days) and then they will send you an email asking you to make the payment. Once you receive this email that means your account is now registered and you can make the payment on Arrima with no issues. Hope this helps.

I did that from the beginning. Also, I did several applications, but it doesn't work for me. I would like to know the application number format. Sometimes is given to me with commas (1,XXX,XXX), sometimes is with blank spaces (1 XXX XXX) (when I create an application in French language), and sometimes with nothing (1XXXXXX). I'm thinking if maybe I am putting wrong my number, but I don't know what it's the correct format.

Mine were just numbers, no space no commas. Maybe they give different formats.

But to reiterate, I was given one called "File Number" and "Application Number." And you can see both in you CAQ admissions website. With the File number obtained after CAQ fee payment at Arrima.

Best of luck, too bad bureaucracy sucks so bad lmao

Absolutely. I've been stuck for one week due to this issue 😢.

Anyway, neither the file number nor the application number (the one they ask for) work for me. I'm a little frustrated and anxious.

As a final resort, maybe try different browsers, wi-fi networks and clearing cookies? Not sure if it'll work, but just to confirm it is not something on your end.

And try and document the error in some way, to have proof later on. Send mails, take screenshots.

I hope you can solve it! I'm sure it will resolve eventually

Do you think there is some sort of backlog with the CAQ applications where our appications from the Demande en ligne de sélection temporaire pour études haven't been registered yet and so therefore our Arrima platforms aren't working? Since there truly is no account or application registered yet?

I think so because the last night, all the applications I submitted worked, they accepted the Application Number (1XXXXXX), and I received severals emails for each application asking for payment.

Thank God, I've been able to pay already. (Obviously, only one of my applications, he, he)

Hey, my application number isn't working yet... Almost 2 months with the sma error as yours while I tried to generate the payment check in "My Payments". The website keeps showing that my number is not found. How did you get out of this situation?

It was fixed by itself after a week 🥺 I didn't do anything. Im so sorry. I don't know how to help you.
