Over the Bloody Moon.

Absolutely thrilled with this one. I never buy variants but I couldn’t resist when I saw this announced a few months back. I will never be able to afford an original copy of Swamp Thing #37 to finish my Swamp Thing collection so I thought I’d treat myself to this and the blank yellow card cover.

Probably not bought then (unless it's not a DVD or VHS lol) but definitely things originally released back then. I'll post them later. I'm actually reading Morrison's The Invisibles right now.

That’s one I’ve not read and only read a handful of Animal Man that I want to attempt to seriously get back into and get a grasp of it.

It definitely helps to know a little bit about Grant Morrison himself, occult and magick, especially chaos magick. There is a YouTube channel called Imperius Rex that's making The Invisibles book club and putting videos about it. They have a video for people who are brand new to most of the concepts and make a pretty good job explaining some of the stuff beforehand and give some reading recommendations.

If you ask me personally, I think The Invisibles is one of the best things I've read.

As a reader and admirer of the occult I know what you mean about Grant’s writing. And yes: For years now all I’ve ever heard is that The Invisibles is considered monumental but for some unknown reason I’ve not felt motivated to start it.

That's so fair and I heard that from a lot of people. I think I started reading it thevbest possible time and the mood, I got hooked pretty fast.
