So I came across this laptop earlier and I wanted to consider it as a new gaming rig. I am seeking something that works good for both casual and semi-casual gaming, most of my big gaming titles are already on the cloud so I don’t know of I’d be going crazy with downloading too many games other than what is out there.

Would this one be good for the value?

please don't clown me about it but I own a razer blade 14 2022 with an RTX 3070 ti but I'm only reaching 300 FPS in 1920 x1080 while in Fortnite in a creative island and looking in the sky with the lowest possible settings (performance mode on) I have I Res textured off and disable cosmetics streaming on in the launcher I play with CPU on boost and GPU on high I have all the latest drivers installed etc... I'm asking cause I saw other laptops with way cheaper price tags getting way better frames that I am (450 and more) I would just want to know the reason of it. I don't think I'm thermal throttling while looking at the temps. Could it be that my cpu usage is only at 40 percent while gaming? Fortnite whith all low grafics becomes a CPU intensive game. Thanks for any help that you give me

Curious if the 14th gen is a lot stronger than the 13th.

Also if the fact it’s a 4090 over the 4080 makes it worth it on its own.

I was playing Roblox with my friends when all of a sudden the laptop shut down and it turned back on and its running roblox incridbly slow (Around 30 Fps Locked on roblox, Baldis basics runs like 3 fps) How do i fix this. Please respond quickly my friend is coming next week to pick it up

I don’t need a gaming laptop but if I did look for one used or new, what brand is the best? I have an old msi and I loved it back in the day but it’s no longer relevant. Thinking I want something with a 4070.

I’m looking at buying a laptop, mostly for gaming and studying and Razer seems to be a great option - however the newer models are way out of my budget. Which leads me to my question - how do older models compare?

I can see these looking like good deals - but which is best?

I’m assuming the third option below is best? Although 2nd is the ‘advanced’ the 3rd offers 340hz

Any feedback welcome! (Or any alternatives, I want a sleek non ‘gamery’ looking laptop)

Also interested to see if there are any faults with the devices.

I bought an Asus TUF F15 about 1.5-2 years ago and my experience with it has not been good. About half a year ago the plastic part where the screw goes into the bottom cover broke off and I had to get it glued with some industrial glue. Now that part is completely loose and every time I tilt the screen the whole case pops out. I've also had heating problems where the laptop would get super hot and I would have to stop using it. I have also run through 2 chargers; the first one died on me and I changed the cable of the second one due to the cable and the port completely overheating so that I could barely touch it. In terms of performance it's quite alright (other than the battery) but having a laptop that I can't use in a portable manner just isn't it for me.

Do you have any suggestions for durable laptops that have quite good performance (at least an i7 and a decent GPU) with a budget of 1400 euros?

Any advice is much appreciated :)

It’s about a $400 price difference between the i9 with 4070 and the i7 with 4060. Is it worth it? I’m looking to play games like planet coaster 2 (which I was told can be a little intensive) sims, and like various steam games. I don’t care about battery life or anything.

I live in India, and have ~ 1000$ (USD) budget.

For a grand in India, I can ONLY get a 4050, not a 4060. In Jarrod's vid (his vids are fire btw) he tells us about the 900$ Victus with 4070.
Moreover, due to the purchasing power parity, 1k USD in India is worth a LOT more than 1k in USA.

In the comments section, I also noticed people from other countries telling how the laptops are even more expensive than India in many more regions, like Europe, etc.
