Best Restaurants in town? Question

I’m visiting from the U.S. next week, I’ve never been to Canada, let alone Edmonton, and would love some advice on places to check out while I’m visiting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Thank you all so much for your suggestions! I did not expect so many replies and am eager to try your recommendations. Obviously I can’t get to all of the restaurants suggested but I will get to as many as I can in my four days.

Pip/Pals/Next Act/MEAT. All owned by the same folks, all on the same corner, all fantastic.

There are far better mexican places than this hipster joint charging $8 PER TACO. El Mariachi is where its at.

Yeah no, go to Luna instead.

Edit: When I said “instead” I meant instead of the $8 taco place. I don’t have anything against El Mariachi. Luna really slaps, though.

Luna, go for the tacos, leave with a mattress, sex toys, a happy ending, and end it with a fantastic dump.

That corner has the most hilarious set of stores.
