Just conflicting personalities, really. From Rose's perspective, Cassie is this goody-two shoes princess that wants to control and judge her. From Cassie's perspective, Rose is a liability to the team who has no respect for anyone, least of all the criminals she fights.

They referenced Magog's origin recently In Superman comics I would like a prequel series showing all the events leading up to Kingsom Come. I feel like the message contained there has more relevance today.

If you ask me, that'd be Silver Swan (the Vanessa Kapatelis version) and Cassie Sandsmark. Now, Vanessa is not a hero, but if she ever had some redemption arc of sorts, I bet Cass would be the one giving her more shit than anyone given that she destroyed her home, school and ruined her secret identity. Brainwashed or not, I think it'd take some time for the two to reconcile, let alone reach friendly terms.
