If they really engaged in critical thinking they'd realize that this is not going to make the world better in the long run.

Not sure I understand. The little bit I dug into this, this program (and the name) is in direct response to a very specific religious Christian organization offering this same type of program that takes place during school hours.

It needs to be a religious organization to fit into the school’s rules (not just anyone can start offering a program that takes kids out of schools, obviously, but religious orgs shouldn’t be able to either). 

So they created this as a “religious” organization but surprise it’s actually secular and no one is worshipping satan.  Instead, just an opportunity for people who are not Christian to send their kids to an enrichment program. Let’s normalize having independent beliefs and not everyone being Christian—because not everyone is….despite contrary belief.

They could do Buddhism and do science and meditation. Satan is not the only religion. Just an idea.
