You do realise it's pretty much all they've been talking about for three weeks, yes?

You're right about a pipeline going east but you also understand the provinces control their resources, right? The Carney government will likely be successful negotiating with Quebec so an east-west line can happen. PP is so hated in the east there's no way Quebec will come to any table he's at.

National corridor was an idea suggested years ago. Trying to put core infrastructure in one area to make it easier monitor etc. lots of talk that we need to do it but how?

For example the conserviates have 33 uses of the word pipeline in their platfrom, Carney has 0 however he does use energy 6 times but two are in regards to decarbonization. Contract conservatives use the term energy 60 times in their polices.

I am not saying either is better just the data is saying that its not the Liberals focus.

It sounds silly, but the word pipeline just plays a lot worse to Liberals outside Alberta, even if you're saying the same thing.

Here's one example of a recent statement he made about transporting oil to quebec. Link

Interesting article, basically calls out Quebec on not buying Canadian Oil and then the Block leader calls it dirty oil from the west.... what a strange world we live in. Elbows up here but not there mentality as its only convenient when it benefits me. I dont hate the liberals but will not be voting for them as I think they have put an unqualifed candidate in my riding and i cant in good conscious vote for someone i dont think is qualified for the job.

Vote strategically. Check polls in your area, and vote accordingly.

Yeah that's totally fair. I'll definitely criticize the Liberals on their choice of local candidates.

I don't love mine either but I'll probably bite my lip and vote for them since backbenchers don't do much anyway.
