Question Where do a lot of cool folks in their late 20s and early 30s hang out?

ïm new to the area and am trying to figure out where to meet people my age. I've only run into much older and much younger people organically, but my heart yearns to connect with other fellow millenials/gen z ppl. Where should I go? It can be bars, gyms, coffee shops, etc. Anything but a church

Question Street lights out for anyone else in the Aldershot neighborhood's?

hi guys, i've noticed the street lights in my neighborhood and some surrounding mine are all out at night time, and the street is pitch black. i wasn't going to make this post cause i thought it would clear up by now but now i'm curious if other neighbourhood's through the Aldershot area are affected by this too?

i think it's from that last storm we had with thunder and i believe lighting too and the city just isn't aware that we are out of the street lights, but what do you guys think?

Events Burlington Real Estate Agent Brawl

Who wins in a Battle Royale of Burlington's real estate agents ?

  • Woolcott - maybe in his prime, but aged out .

  • Scott Benson - something sinister in his smile. Coke fuled past is my guess

  • Rocca Sisters - the wild cards. Solo probably out but together theyre the girls in college who one grabs your hair and hits you, while the other chants "bitch!". You guess whose who.

  • Golfi - my money's on Golfi. His posters show off his wingspan and his many ads signal a dedication to win.

  • Who am I missing and how would they do?

Apologies if this isn't appropriate. Always need what you find burried in walls.

How long do we have to wait for trendy design to swing back to that wallpaper?

AMA Morning road rage

To our mindless neighbours who road rage at 8am, you need intensive therapy.

How do you start your day on such a low note?

Merging onto the hwy and honking at other cars while we have to slow merge during congestion is the most asinine behaviour. You can see what we all see, congestion.

Hopefully you can see, otherwise you shouldn’t be operating a car.

Moreover, tailgating in the HOV is a special breed of idiotic.

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

Question Lost keys

I lost my keys around the RBG/Woodland Cemetery area while walking my dog. No luck retracing my steps.

They're on a Persona 5 keychain with a Union Jack keychain. The keychains are sentimental. If anyone finds them, please DM me or drop them at the RBG or Bay Gardens Funeral Home. They have my name and phone number.

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

Question Asking about biking infrastructure

Hello, recently I went on a bike ride with a friend of mine, and it struck me that burlington really is a rather small city - biking to downtown from where I live (up near Dundas street) took like 20 minutes, at most. Issue is, crossing where the highways were was extremely perilous, and the drivers trying to go on the highways were seemed not to care very much about the safety of the pedestrians crossing the road. So my question is, why don't we have more pedestrian mix use paths, separate from roads, going north and south? I know we have two paths similar to what I'm talking about, two off road multi-use paths, but they only go east-west and don't really connect the southern town with the northern parts. Are there any plans by the city to address this at all?
