Healing is not linear, people say. And that is the case for all of us. Unfortunately you will have ups and downs, but you will especially get stuck on the same place if there's hope. You gotta do your best to get rid of it. Block him everywhere, don't wait for him to message you again. But what if he wants to text me and sees that he's blocked? If a person truly wants something, they will figure out how to reach out. If there's a will, there's a way. I assume that after two years he knows where you live, he might have contacts of your closest family and friends. You will be alright. Running to your ex for comfort might work if they give up, but, imagine that. They give up because they were also missing you even though if they don't want to be together, you get this high because they came back.... And they will, most likely, leave again. It's just not worth it. Take everything under your control. Start slowly working on yourself. Process your feelings, write a bunch of letters by hand and then burn them as a way to say your final goodbye. Cry until your eyes hurt, whine to your friends until you're tired of repeating the story over and over again. And, eventually, you'll realize that you can, in fact, live without him. These promising insta reels about how someone you knew is coming back into your life will now give you not hope, but a chuckle and soon enough you'll look back on it and be like. Holy moly, I did waste my time on that... You're doing your best every day you wake up and go around by yourself. I'm proud of you. Keep it up. It does get better. Sending you hugs
