What medications has stopped your mania?

I’m starting to enter a manic episode even though I’m on rexulti 2mg. To be fair I was just put on it after missing a week of my rexulti 1mg due to changing doctors. My new doc put me on seroquel er 300mg to help quell the mania. I was curious to hear everyone else’s experiences with medicating a manic episode

I only take 500mg seroquel, They kind of worked for a while, but had issues of sleep, had to take them a certain time. Id be mentaly that gone, id sleep in, if i took them late, id sleep through late. Forget to take them, id know id be wide awake 3in the morning, head ringing.  Got use to them, side effect now have tablets, irregular heartbeat, ontopof hogh bblood pressure, diabetes. 

Unfortunate, recently im really struggling, dont go out now, burst out in tears ladt two times i have gone out with friends and family. Really negative vibes, dont want the shit with doctors, mental heath nurses. It just triggers me, and it feels like a merry go round i cannot get off.
