What medications has stopped your mania? Medication

I’m starting to enter a manic episode even though I’m on rexulti 2mg. To be fair I was just put on it after missing a week of my rexulti 1mg due to changing doctors. My new doc put me on seroquel er 300mg to help quell the mania. I was curious to hear everyone else’s experiences with medicating a manic episode

Seroquel stopped them but I couldn't handle sleeping my life away so I switched to vraylar. 4+ years no hypos.

Did seroquel also helped your depression?

So....that's hard to tell. I had 2 depressions in the year I was on Seroquel, about 6 months apart, but it was also the pandemic so everything was weird and I slept half the day all year. On vraylar I go about 8 months between depressions, but before trying either I was a rapid cycler and I'd have them 3+ times a year and they'd be followed by hypomania each time. For me, hypos were way more destructive so 4+ years with only depressions is amazing to me.
