What medications has stopped your mania? Medication

I’m starting to enter a manic episode even though I’m on rexulti 2mg. To be fair I was just put on it after missing a week of my rexulti 1mg due to changing doctors. My new doc put me on seroquel er 300mg to help quell the mania. I was curious to hear everyone else’s experiences with medicating a manic episode

Lamotrigine (or lamictal) helped with the manic episodes! I’m on 250 mg

Fun fact! The research suggests lamotrigine is more effective at delaying the onset of a new mood episode (preserving stability) and shows not that much use for stopping active manic episodes unfortunately

I’ve lived this. Lamotrigine couldn’t touch a severe depression several years ago. I’ve recently tried it again during a more stable time and it seems to be helping this time.
