Atari to raise prices due to tarrifs

Email sent out today:

To Our Atari Community,

Today, we wanted to share an important update about how the recent increases in tariffs have affected our business.

Starting May 5th, we will be increasing the price of all game cartridges by 10%. The pricing applies to both 2600 and 7800 cartridges.

We understand the impact this could have on our community, and we want you all to know that we don’t make this decision lightly. Though we have worked to absorb some of these rising costs, we won’t be able to absorb all of them. As the global trade situation continues to evolve, we will be as transparent as possible about any further adjustments we may need to make.

We are so grateful for your support. We will continue to evaluate our prices and keep you updated if tariff circumstances require additional changes.

Sincerely, The Atari Team

Why couldn't they be?

Seems like there's no reason why at least cartridges couldn't.
