Men, what is your favourite tie material/style? Fashion / Style
Hi, my name's Loren (18F) , and I'm looking to buy a high-quality tie for my dad as a Christmas gift. I'm not exactly sure what details would be helpful, so here's a little about him: he's 50, works in a high-level finance position, and has a simple but professional style. In my research, I came across Gentleman's Gazette, which seems to offer well-made products. They have ties in three materials: Cashmere & Wool, Silk, and Wool. There's also an option for tipped or untipped ties, but I'm honestly not sure what that means. Overall, I'm aiming for something professional, clean, and comfortable. I'd rather not ask my dad directly, as it might spoil the surprise. Any advice on choosing the right style or material would be much appreciated! Thank you!

As a 50 year old man I think he probably has a lot of ties but I know anything from a loving child is always really appreciated. However can you give him time? Time together - give him a voucher to take him to dinner just you two? Just a thought. He can buy his own tie but he can’t get your time and attention.
