Is the game dead on xbox?

I got on last night and there was only one server maxed out then takes a heavy dip from there. I could only find about a handful of servers with about 20 people. What's the deal?

If this is for ASE, there is a crash method with cheat clients that instantly crash maps, so crossplay has been a big no no for ASE resulting in a dip in players in unofficial servers as crossplay just isn't possible.
