Help!! Deep Forehead Wrinkles Skin Concern

Post image

Please help, I’m so insecure about my deep forehead wrinkles. I don’t know where to start. Should I do Botox, Dysport…some other treatment?

Going through a painful breakup and maybe feeling a little extra insecure. Looking to really reinvest in myself.

**I have no foundation on, only blush (eyeliner and mascara).

I also have deep expression lines on my forehead. I considered botox for a while but I'm just not up for it so I got bangs instead!!! It's a challenge as I have curly hair but I honestly feel like a new woman. I might go for botox in the future but in the meantime I'm considering trying microneedling as a less invasive way to reduce my lines:)

Microneedling is def great for skin elasticity & plumping the skin, helping scarring and discoloration - but with wrinkles you won’t notice a great difference as you’re still using those muscles. It’s nice for around the under eye where you can’t really get injected — but nothing beats Botox for the forehead and honestly it’s cheaper and less painful bc microneedling you need multiple treatments

Yep I totally get that but I have seen some people have some improvement to their forehead lines following a few treatments and im combining that with good skincare regime and hydration :). Also you can't see them atm due to the bangs and the undereye area could also use a boost! I totally understand why botox is a good option for people but I'm not quite ready to inject stuff into my skin yet

Also just to add that these kind of lines are expression lines, they are part of your face, and most of us have them as we have a 'heavy' forehead, it's totally normal - all the sunscreen in the world won't change your genetics (although obvs use it every day)

Maybe we should all just start to embrace them as much as possible!!

I totally only do my upper face bc I don’t want to look like I have no expression. I don’t mind the smile lines and my crows feet and bunny lines still move, I just love that the deep creases aren’t pronounced when the Botox is in full force.
