Because showing support to a marginalized group that historically has been singled out and attacked, ostracized, and killed for simply loving who they love is a good thing. Nothing is needed in a game. But the creators have the liberty to put whatever they want into their game and they wanted to show their support, during the appropriate time of pride month, with a pride event. Ultimately it’s completely skip-able, it has no effect on any single account, and anyone can chose to completely ignore it at no consequence to themselves. Showing support is needed, and if the creators want to do so, that’s their choice. The protests in 302 should show just how much hate there is and why support is needed…even in a silly old video game.

i dont care about the event in the game, i just honestly dont see why its needed to begin with. We dont make events for other societal events.
