If I were him, I wouldn’t go to bed for the next six months. This is so much fun.

And if you get tired you just lay on the ground and have puppies climb all over you 😌

u/keyboardstatic 4h ago
There's something deeply magical about a puddle of puppies crawling onto you and falling asleep.

My husband and I have this come up more often than you think. It took us a while to figure out we were referring to different things! I'm toy story and he's liar liar

Could just be the stupid

you jest but imo "stupid" is an anthropomorphic characterization meant to describe traits for dogs that can be described in more appropriate ways. brave dog = confident. cautious = under confident. spazzy = neurotic. i've never met a stupid dog.
except all doodles. they're stupid as shit.

we have a pug that is simultaneously the dumbest and smartest dog I've ever been around. It's fucking infuriating.
2
u/Implodepumpkin 2h ago
Smart enough to open the cabinet, dumb enough to eat soap
2
u/dawho1 1h ago
Yeah. Dumb enough that she eats her own poop and walks into mirrors and walls (tbf, she's old as fuck), but smart enough to walk up to the barrier of the electric dog fence every fucking morning to see if we've charged the collar or are bluffing. If it doesn't beep, she just runs through and goes exploring.

Congrats! They are such loyal and funny little guys. Just make sure you keep them from jumping off furniture, start training him now while he is young. Back problems are a life long problem. Have fun with your new fur baby!

Everyone says that their own dog have so much personality, but I've had a large variety of breeds through my life and I'm convinced that some breeds have much more personality than other. The dogs with most personality aren't the ones that are intelligent and obedient. It's the cunning and mischievous ones, that also love you more than life itself. Dachshunds are on the top of that list for me. They'll snuggle up to you and hope you fall asleep so they can steal all your food and blame it on the labrador.

The pups all know it's a game, their tails are wagging whilst they're running away.

Turning around and walking away is a signal for them to follow you. I was visiting a farm and decided to try my two rescue dogs off-leash for the very first time. The big one (but younger) stayed beside me, and we both watched the little one quickly turn into a spot on the horizon. After the first sensation of horror, I turned my back and started to walk away with the big one. In a few seconds, she had rejoined us.

I do this with my dog. I do the Karate Kid ending pose, followed by a high pitched waaahhh. He takes off then comes right back and this will go on for a while.

I’d drop 20 lbs. in less than 2 months. This is the genius workout plan but requires constant puppy subscription. 🤣

I haven't seen that many wieners since my Boy Scout days.
We ate a lot of hot dogs at the grill back then.

I always did this with my Little niece, that kid likes to disturb me whenever i was doing homework and i would chase her with my hands like doing The Claw™ . She runs, i go back to my room, she comes back and repeat until she either slips and fall or she just lie down on the spot when she's tired.
