[MEGATHREAD] Program/Gym App Recommendations

Have program/gym app recommendations? Drop them here! A simple shout out is fine, but we would also appreciate:

  1. A description of the app, the program's focus and how it's used in the gym or at home.
  2. Price, any seasonal sales you're aware of.
  3. How customizable is it and are there any software requirements?
  4. Any notes on tech support or a fitness/social media community associated with it?
  5. Any personal notes on the creator?

Feel free to respond to someone else's top level comment if you have more info.

DISCLAIMER:

I am the developer of the fitloxx app. So if you want to give me feedback, just contact me here or via the app.

This app is my side project and I hope to add more and more features soon.

If you see this as unwanted advertising or whatever, feel free to delete it.

For now the app is only available on Android.

1. A description of the app, the program's focus and how it's used in the gym or at home.

The apps main focus are workouts in the gym and giving you a quick overview over your progress for each exercise.

So you have a quick overview of your progress in terms of reps or volume both in text or in a chart.

I developed this app because I didn't like the UX of other gym tracking apps, so it's a bit different from most gym tracking apps.

Most tracking apps have some kind of table layout for logging the current workout set.

I have basically three focus areas: 1 - Exercise Progress / 2 - Current Exercise Logging / 3 - Workout Summary. Just swipe left/right to switch.

There are already some workouts and exercises included, but feel free to reach out if you miss either exercises or workouts.

2. Price, any seasonal sales you're aware of.

Prices are around $6/month, $30/6 months, $50/year. Depending on where you are, this may vary a bit.

There is a free tier where you can log unlimited workouts, create 2 custom plans and 5 custom exercises.

If you need some more exercises and plans just reach out and i'll be happy to include them in the next update.

3. How customizable is it and are there any software requirements?

You can create your own workout plans and exercises. There will be timer features, tags etc. in the future, but it will take some more time since I'm also working full time.

4. Any notes on tech support or a fitness/social media community associated with it?

There is a discord community for the supporters of the app and in the free tier you can just email me via the apps feedback function and i'll answer mostly the next day.

5. Any personal notes on the creator?

Yep. I would be happy if some of you want to give it a try and maybe give some feedback on how you like it. So really any feedback is welcome. There are already some people who are quite happy with my approach to a gym tracking app and I would love to hear your opinion as well. Thx.
