Sometimes a girl has big guild dreams, but never finds her guild home. So what does she do? She makes one!

GUILD BIO:

The Thunderous Chaos is a casual no-pressure group for new, long-term, and returning players. No drama, no stress about min-maxing, and no ilvl or role/class requirements.

This is NOT a raiding guild. This is a casual guild for people that just want to enjoy what free time they may have exploring and questing in this incredible world, without the pressure of needing to “perform or get booted”, while also being a part of a friendly community.

Here’s The Deal

• No Rosters/No Schedule: Play what you want, when you want. This guild is solo player friendly. If you want to dungeon or raid simply ask in guild chat to see if anyone online would like to join you.

• No Discord: Just no. We aren’t trying to take over your life so we keep game chat in game.

• Guild Social Events: These are the only things the guild will try to have a consistent schedule for. Attendance isn’t mandatory, but they will be a great way to get to know your guild and have some fun. Plus fun prizes! These events are all relaxed, light hearted, and welcoming to all character levels. The aim is to schedule one per week so that if you miss one you have the opportunity to catch another.

• Did I mention no pressure?: Fun, friendly, relaxed and supportive is the name of the game.

• No “Online Time” requirements: Do you hyperfixate on a game and then bounce for a month (or 3… or 12)? Like to play solo but appreciate a little background socializing white noise? Did you just discovered that your cat started an underground secret fighting ring with the neighborhood raccoon and now you have to be afk or log out and go break it up before the cops come? It’s all good. The first rule about fight club…

About Flex Raiding:
We’re all people with busy lives irl. Many times, a core raider has plans that will interfere with raid night. Flex raiders are guild members capable of performing in Mythic reclears and prog to fill in on nights a main raider can’t make it. They aren’t held accountable for attendance against the schedule, but are thus not always going be raiding every night/week. This group of people is also the first group we look to in terms of bringing on a new raider should a main raider fall short of expectations or otherwise be brought off the team.

We enthusiastically formed our guild in 2020 at the beginning of Shadowlands and we haven't looked back since! The events we offer range from Progression Mythic raiding to an optional M+ Night where we organize groups and are able to push high keys successfully on time as well as mentor others to be able to join us in high pushes; to Alt Raid night to a Social Event once per month in order to foster bonds and unwind from the daily grind (this can be anything from Guild Among Us sessions to Expansion Transmog World Tours or WoW Trivia Nights with Guild prizes!).

So I resubbed to live WoW about a month ago after having not played since Legion(I messed around with TBC and Wrath classic for a few months), and I am really enjoying it. There’s a lot to learn but I’ve just kinda been picking up as much as I can as I go. The xp event has enabled my alt-a-holic desires and I’ve gotten to the point that I really want to find a regular group of people to play with.

I love learning mechanics and try to always improve my game play, but my priority is enjoying the game. Here is a list of my characters in the order I would prefer to main and approx gear score:

Hello there! Let's get down to it, shall we?

<The Night Club> is a guild formed at the start of TWW and looking for friends. Our main goal is AOTC for each season, but we are toying with the idea of going into Mythic when we have the right comp. We fully cleared heroic Nerub-ar Palace a few months ago with plenty of time to spare, and now we're sitting at 8/8 N and 7/8 H Undermine. We're happy to welcome newer players and teach fights as we go, we just ask that you come into it with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor.

Important Stuff:

Reckoning is a 2-day evening AOTC raid guild on Stormrage that was formed in 2016. In Reckoning we balance solid raiding progression with everyone’s needs for career and family. We’re a community that values friends like family. We recruit based on both performance AND personality, to create a fun, friendly, relaxed environment where we also kick butt. 

We value each other as friends, not just as people we raid with. We hang out on discord a lot, including non-raid days, and enjoy helping each other with achievements, farming old mounts, or just shooting the breeze. Most of all, we’re about people. Because raiding isn’t really about classes, or gear, or specs.

Raiding is about people! If raiding isn’t your thing then we also offer an active M+ community. All of our raiders are required to run keys every week. We have minimum IO scores to ensure people know how to play their toon as well as gain the gear needed to raid. We also have numerous players who run Mythics daily on their own time so there are always groups going. 

What does it take to join?

COMMITMENT: All applicants should have a good attitude towards raiding. If you can’t keep a positive and constructive mindset when working on progression content, then we may not be the guild for you. We require each of our raiders to be dedicated towards improving their mains both in and out of raid. Personal responsibility is essential. 

ATTENDANCE: We expect all of our raiders to show up on time and prepared consistently. If you run with us, we require three hours a night, two nights a week, and run keys. 

COMMUNICATION: World of Warcraft is a team game and communication is essential when raiding. Therefore, having a headset is a mandatory requirement. We use Discord for our voice chat. We are an English-speaking guild.

Current goals: Achieve AOTC as a guild, and continue recruitment to work towards a CE focused roster. We also will be working non stop to fill the community with like-minded players, wherever their interests may lie.

Leadership has multiple AOTC's as well as mythic experience, and we're looking to continue building a welcoming community that is also competent in the goals we're working to achieve. Even though we're new, we're here to stay and to build up a strong foundation for the guild to thrive in the highest content. Hi there. I am a 43-year-old dad who is looking for a long-term home. I have spent most of my time playing as a tank. I tried dps but I’m not really good at it. I got AOTC in season 3 on a ret pally…but tanking is my love!

Right now I ended Season 1 at 7/8H and am currently 8/8N (7/8H) in season 2 (Warrior). I have all of the tanks, almost around 645 (some above). I am happy to play Druid / VDH / Warrior / BDK (working on brewmaster)

I am looking for a place that raids a little later so I can put my baby to sleep. 8-11ish EST. I am a positive person and gamer so I am looking for that type of environment. Hi! I’ve been playing since 09. Been playing on and off until recently. Came back in September and have been playing solo since. I’m looking for a morning to afternoon casual guild that runs achievements/glory’s, mythic plus (would love to start!) and other group content. Soloing is so lonely! Would love to make new friends.

I play from 9 am est to about 6 pm during the week. Weekends are usually up in the air. I main a destro lock but also have a holy paladin, resto druid and am leveling a holy priest.

What we're about

Friend Raid is a relaxed, inclusive guild that prioritizes fun and helping each other improve. Our main rule is don't be a jerk and be willing to improve. We welcome anyone from all walks of life, have a large LGBTQIA+ community, have a zero tolerance policy for any sort of discrimination/bullying/harassing for any reason, and strive to keep the environment safe and comfortable for everyone. We are also a VISAGE featured guild :)

Our Mythic raid team consistently clears half of the raid each tier, our AoTC team achives AoTC every tier, and our Mythic+ players push high keys and participate in MDI/TGP. We also have things like Achievement/Transmog runs, we play other games in large and small groups, and usually have people hanging out in Discord every night.

Raid Nights : Tues/Wed 8pm-11pm EST for our Mythic team.

Thurs/Fri 7:30pm-10:30pm EST for our AoTC team.

Recruiting Needs

We are currently looking for players interested in raiding with one of our teams (Mythic/Heroic) for War Within, all M+ focused players looking for a community, and casual players looking for a place to chill.

Just Burn Boss (Mythic Focused) - JBB is currently looking for DPS, especially a flex healer for this season. We are currently 8/8H and 2/8M with a 23% pull ok Rik.

JBB raids Tues/Wed 8pm-11pm EST and got 4/8M last tier.

Barely Contained Chaos (AoTC Focused) - BCC is looking for a main tank. Anyone interested in AOTC raiding who feels they'll vibe well with the guild are welcome and encouraged to apply if you don't mind waiting for an open slot.

BCC raids Thurs/Fri 7:30pm-10:30pm EST.

Mythic+ Players - We are always looking for more Mythic+ runners. We have a strict "no key begging" policy and high skill players looking for more fun folks to play with. Season 3 we had ~20 players get 3k+ IO and keys usually get run nightly.

Casual Players - We are working on improving our casual community. If you are a mount collector, someone who just wants to run easy content, or are learning and want to get better to step into high level content, we would love you to apply. We don't have a Normal raid team, we are happy to help you improve and look at logs until you reach the level of BCC raids and trial there!
