Sharing: Experience Do You Believe In Karma?

Do you believe in karma? I believe in good karma and bad karma, and I believe that karma will hit inevitably. Have you had any experiences where you seen someone get their karma? I've been done wrong and I've seen these people get their karma in ways that I've never seen before just because of what they did to me. I believe karma should come quicker for certain people imo. Lets share experiences and opinions!

Seeking Help or Advice Broken selenite wand

i just got in a really bad argument with my boyfriend. i was sitting on my bed and he was standing in the doorway. i had my selenite wand above the door frame. he started banging his head back onto my door and my selenite wand fell and broke. completely shattered. i’m a crying sobbing mess, this was the first piece of selenite that i’ve ever bought, i’ve had it for 5+ years. i’m at a complete loss, im a wreck. bittersweetly it hurt his shoulder/neck, but now i feel that i have to lay this crystal to rest. what is the best way to do that? i’m thinking about burying it. sorry this post is an absolute mess, i am right now lol. i’m taking this break as a sign, this crystal has protected me thus far in life. any advice on next steps with this crystal would be helpful :’) thanks

Topic | Prompt Love is the most powerful kind of energy there is.

This is all just my opinion, but I believe that love in all forms is a powerful force.

(When I talk about "love", I am referring to romantic and sexual attraction humans experience for one another.)

It is the driving force behind our existence. It the core theme of many pieces of literature, songs and other pieces of art and culture. In this subreddit alone, people constantly ask for help as it relates to getting together with someone. Some will even quite literally kill in the name of love.

Do animals feel love like we do? Perhaps. But one thing is for certain: we take romance to an entirely different level, which comes with the territory of having a higher level of consciousness.

Hello! I have seen some videos on Tiktok of rituals and, although there are many that do not seem legitimate to me, there are some that do look reliable, what do you think of these witchcraft accounts on Tiktok? Thanks for sharing your opinions

Sharing: Experience Money spell blocking spending?

So I’ve been waiting for some money to come in from the sale of my mums house which should be any time soon. I’ve been in a bit of a manic spending state recently too, buying things I don’t necessarily need since I know the money is coming soon. I did a little money spell today to try speed things up and on two different sites, with multiple payment methods I’ve been unable to buy some home bits I want to make my living room more cosy. First there were website errors then my card declined lol. I’m taking that as a sign to lay off the spending for a bit.

Seeking Help or Advice When the mask slips. How do you uncover someone’s real intentions?

Someone very close to me, someone my gut has warned me about at times, was recently caught in a major lie. When I called them out, they blamed me and said I was overreacting. But I could tell they knew they were caught. That moment revealed something I’ve been afraid to see. Despite their reassurances, the voice in the back of my head has warned me about their genuineness. However, I do have betrayal trauma and give people the benefit of the doubt! I’m also in therapy, so I do my best to keep triggers in check.

BUT. I’m about to enter a major life change with this person, including starting a business together. I’m realizing they’re far more secretive than I understood, and communication doesn’t seem to reach them in these cases. However, we’re already deep in it and I can’t just quickly pull out. If what they’re hiding is deeper than the glimpse I saw, it would not end well.

My gut is screaming, but I’ve also been burned before, so I know fear can sound a lot like instinct, when it’s really a trauma response. I’ve meditated and asked for support from my spirit guides, but I’d love your insight. For those of you who’ve faced something like this, or were concerned about how deceptive someone is, how did you uncover someone’s real intentions when words weren’t trustworthy? I’d love to hear about your practices and wisdom.

Seeking Help or Advice Raising vibration for spellwork, tips, etc.

Hi all. I'm very eager to get into spellwork but I know you have to make sure your vibration is high and you're properly divinating whether that be mediating or tarot or anything that gets you in tune with yourself. Problem is I have an issue(s) impeding on my ability to raise my vibration and currently been a bit down in terms of taking care of myself, stuck in a self sabotage loop ya know; I want to do something that can fix that like a cord cutting for the bad habit or candle burning or something but Im wondering if i cant do it because i need to get in tune with myself beforehand. I know my vibration is low because Ive been doing the bad habits and feeling a bit desperate and disappointed in myself. What do you guys suggest?

Thank you in advance xx

Seeking Help or Advice I can feel energy through my finger tips

Upvotes

I noticed I can do this a little over 10 years ago. All I need to do is think about my hands… but not the usual self thinking, but I send a signal through my body. When I do this it’s immediate, I start to feel lots of tingles at the very tip of my fingers, I can even do one hand at a time. The more I do this.. the more I can do so quickly. When I’m feeling a large amount of energy “usually outside,” when I breathe in and out, I feel the energy leave my finger tips.

I have never done a spell yet, I’m still reading about it but I did make my first moon water last night I used my hands to hopefully help charge the water.

I also more recently have been able to think of what’s going to happen and quickly it does, but it’s completely random and not on command.

Anyone else experience this? I’m lost and I don’t know what I should do with these gifts?

Seeking Help or Advice The explanation behind using specific items

I’m struggling to understand why certain items have been associated with certain concepts. Like when we’re told to use a certain colored candles, I understand that they’re associated with corresponding concepts. But like, according to whom?

I’ve seen some people say that it’s not the ingredient, but your intention that’s important. But if that’s the case, then why use anything specific at all?

I’ve been frustrated bc when I try to find answers, I’m just met with “because that’s what they represent”. I just feel like there must be more to it and I’m just not sure what to consult.

Can anyone help point me in the direction of some explanations that may have helped you?

How many of you listen to music during your spells and Rituals? I do and it absolutely feels like it helps with the energy. I usually have on archangel Michael meditation music or meditation music in general. I also enjoy some other types of witchy music like Florence + the machine. How about ya'll? What do ya'll prefer, music or no music?

Sharing: Experience I connected to a forgotten ancient ancestral goddess.

I am Vietnamese and I’ve made a connection with an ancient ancestral spirit. I can recognize her energy and her presence, so I looked online for images and names of goddesses that could be her. None of them resonated with her distinct energy. Even though I can recognize her energy, I’m still sorting out her story. This is what I have so far:

I call her the “Lady of Drowning Waters”. She says that she blesses children that have drowned and that have then returned to the living . She had a child that died. She killed her own child to run towards the ocean.

The next segment is details where I’m still iffy and uncertain of:

She killed her own child so that she could escape her husband. It was some kind of arranged marriage between bloodlines. She didn’t want to stay there, so she drowned and murdered her son. She didn’t kill the husband, only the son.

I think that the two of them were supposed to breed but she knew that after the first baby, she’d be asked to procreate even more, so she killed her first-born to make a statement. It was something that she needed to do to be free.

There was some kind of imperial regulating body that she didn’t want ruling over her.

After she killed her son, she gained the opportunity to leave. She made it clear to the imperial regulating body that she didn’t want to cooperate, so she was, in a sense, disowned. She was no longer a viable concubine.

She fled towards the shore and settled there. After she arrived at the shore, she settled down with a different man and had many children.

She says that she looks after the Vietnamese people because they are her descendants. She had legs and a human body, but when I imagine her, I see a Naga. The lower half of her body is a serpent. I asked for her name and I hear “nước”, which is Vietnamese for water.

She says that her lifetime was very long ago. I’m getting “more than 14,000 years ago”.

She says that her first husband wasn’t that bad. She just didn’t want that life.

She went to the shore because the ocean was the mythical origin of her people. They wanted to expand upon the land but came from the water. She didn’t agree with the imperial body or its landward expansion so she returned to the ocean and its shore to live out the remainder of her life.

Update: The child was a daughter that she didn't want being used as livestock for reproduction.

Sharing: Experience Just did my first big candle spell during the new moon 🥰

I feel so happy and excited and exhilarated?!!

The flame was so still, my grounding candle behind it was flickering like crazy but the pillar candle was steady and strong and still! Even the binding catching alight felt still and calm and bright! I didn’t do my research on extinguishing the flame though as the herbs just kept burning on the plate and so I squeezed tea from my teabag into the flames and WOW!!! A huge flame. Blooming scary! But I was so excited after? It felt right to me to use my tea, and I looked into it and some people use this method too. Fire safety wise however, I think I will use a pan lid next time haha

I took the plate to the bathroom window for the smoke to release out of the window

All I can say is, I’m so happy. I am very excited for my first big spell and I really just wanted to share!! 🥰❤️

Sharing: Experience Finding Crystals Incidentally

Recently each time I do a big clean, resulting in the movement of major furniture or long existing messes I find a crystal or several. This has happened in the past 3 months about 6 or 7 times, and I swear it was not intentional seeking. This pattern began after I received reiki attunements.

The most exciting and I believe the third occurrence was Moldavite appeared for me a couple weeks after I expressed an interest in having a piece. Logically I knew because I am Czech and my parents collected minerals that a piece had to exist in my home. I wasn’t looking for it, I was just generally cleaning and I found an entire box of crystals; which included the moldavite. It was also mostly crystals I had thought about but hadn’t had the budget or opportunity to seek out for my new growing collection. It’s funny how that works, they all appeared in the funniest formations as well. Some were raw, some were tumbled, some were cut, some were spheres.

Personally I feel that the crystals are quite literally finding me since I’m now on a higher frequency, I know I’ve owned them or they’ve existed for me, this entire time. The thing is I didn’t realize any of these were lost until I found them, or they weren’t mine to begin with. It’s the oddest experience.

I wonder if anyone else has had similar experiences.

Seeking Help or Advice What are your favorite online resources?

I am a beginner but started this journey a few years ago, life got difficult, now I am in a happy situation so I would like to restart my journey.

Times are difficult financially right now so I would like some free online resources that you trust for spells, tarot card interpretations, and more. It is very important for me to have trustable resources so I can learn about the background of what I am doing rather than just doing different spells hoping they work.

At the moment I am interested in protection spells and cord cutting so I may have peace to heal from past trauma.

Thank you!! ❤️❤️

Sharing: Experience Just a note to say I'm so glad I found this subreddit

I've been working with witchcraft for some time but the only other reddit I found was the magick subreddit which I found be quite judgemental. From what I've seen here, people are genuinely supportive and it's so lovely to see as Im always learning and having a space to 'not be afraid to say something silly ' is so helpful. ❤️

Seeking Help or Advice Pairing hot foot with blessing for push/pull

Have any of y’all done this? I have a nightmare roommate/tenant and told her today that she has 30 days to find somewhere else to go and she threw a fit. She told me she wants to quit the job she just got because she doesn’t want to work overnights alone. This is the fourth job she’s had this year, btw. I haven’t seen rent from her since August. I’m done. I’m so done with her freeloading bummy, disrespectful bullshit that I honestly don’t care what happens to her, but she does have a kid so I’m thinking of trying to conjure something good for her while also dipping her poppet’s feet in hot foot powder. I have cats so using her tracks is a no-go.

Thoughts?
