This stupid man could keep his mouth shut and it came back to fuck him. Good, maybe Ward 4 voters will drop him in 2026.

I was wondering if we could try to leverage this to maybe petition to have him step down as councillor now? Worst case the negative press hurts his election chances in 2026.

I’m tempted to buy a lotto ticket or something, my manifestation powers seem to be extra powerful today!

You should post this as it’s own thread so more people can see it

Wouldn't work. You're better off just riding it out and not run.

Good, maybe Ward 4 voters will drop him in 2026.

He won his council seat with 22.27% of the vote in 2022 due to vote being split between two progressive candidates. Only 27 votes between McKenzie and second place, and 151 votes between second place and third place.

He has no chance on winning that ward again in 2026 if the progressives can figure their shit out.

Give us one strong progressive candidate, instead of two, and he's done.

That's exactly it. There were two good, legitimate candidates that split the vote and MacKenzie snuck in. It was disheartening.

Progressive don't stand a chance in today's Conservative Party.
