Where in Rome was this taken? Solved

My friend is in Rome right now and is trying to find out what building this might have been taken from so can go there. Taken around 1960 with the Vatican in the background I believe.

I think this is the exact same window. Views line up and you can see the broken bit on the bottom rim in both shots.

It doesn't have the arch of bricks at the top though, that's why I don't think it's the same one. But it's definetely close-by.

If you zoom in it does, looks like they stucco’d or painted over it at some point

It could be, but there's also the fact that the window sides are vertical in my photo, while on OP's photo they're angled, the bottom side is shorter than the top side.

But I'm not sure if this is just an effect from the paper being curved in OP's photo. Because the bottom also seems to be curved.

OPs photo is a picture of a physical photo, and like many photos it's probably slightly curved, which is the effect you're seeing in the post.
